26-haunting dreams

"Rodion!!"

I sat up in a hasty, breathing so rapidly to catch up with my racing. It was that state where you'd suspect the heart was vacating its confines and running away from you.

I rubbed my chest. My body was soaked with sweat. I wiped my forehead and then let out a huff when I felt my heart normalizing its activity.

The dog is haunting me.

My head was pounding. It felt like I got whacked mercilessly behind my back head with a sledgehammer. I shut my eyes and I moaned in pain. Just then, the dog's face came into my vision. I shook my head as I choked on my moans then shot my eyes open.

It was not just a dream, it was real. I could touch the dog. The way my thumb moved against his mouth. Then the way I ordered him to say his name.

I know... I know, dogs don't talk but this Lazza's dog talked. It was probably trained.

"Rodion. My name is Rodion Konstantin." The deep voice was loud in my mind.

"Forget that name! Else you'll die!" A voice rang in my brain.
