Chapter 41

Jade's pov

Getting awakened by pounding on my door I stumbled out of bed in the darkness to open it.

Not bothering to peek out the peephole I flung the door open to see Gregory standing there.

“What are you doing, Jade?”

Blinking my eyes up at him I was lost for words.

“My mom died, and I was with her; why are you here,” I asked him in return.

“I'm sorry about your mom, but we need to get you far away from here,” he rushed out as he glanced down the hallway and shoved me back into my room, slamming the door behind himself.

Waking up more from his manhandling I furrowed my brow and glared at him.

“I don't know what your issue is, sir but I'm going with my father when he comes to my room,” I growled sourly.

“That is wonderful, Jade. So where is he?”

Glancing over at the alarm clock and seeing it was only five in the morning I pointed to my right.

“Next door,” I yawned as I rubbed my eyes.

“Okay, stay here while I go and knock on his door,” he mumbled softly befor

It seems that at least one of the kings is not so evil! Aiden's mom and sister are as evil as Aiden!! What a trash family! Greedy as hell!
