Chapter 150: A Loophole

Athena’s POV

The warrior’s camp was not as cheery as it always was since everyone was busy preparing for an imminent war. No one knew when the war would break out, but we do know it is coming soon, and everyone must practice with all their might.

I walked away from the gathering exhausted; I had been exercising constantly for three days, thinking about Evelyn, and all I could do was express my rage about my training.

"Excuse me, Lady Athena, the alpha wants to see you," someone said, and I tilted my head to look at the person, a guard standing before me, his hands clenched behind him.

“Okay, thank you,” I said, and he bowed before me and walked away.
