Gideon’s POV

I had left the party to have a short discussion about the pack and the party in general, only to return and Andrea said the thing that terrified me; I tried to push myself to speak, but words failed me, and I collapsed on the floor.

Now I'm lying on a hospital bed in the dark, unable to define what's wrong with me; my body seems weaker than usual, I can't move a finger, and I've never felt so weak in my life.
