Daniel’s POV The night in the tent was filled with love, Athena and I gazed through the sky all night and the crescent moon shone brightly at us, we barely slept due to the cold, but it didn't matter, what we had at that moment was what mattered most, I wouldn't trade anything in the world for this, Athena is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The day was here again, and I was the first to wake up. I softly touched Athena, and she slowly opened her eyes, squinting slightly before groggily standing up from the floor. We emerged from the tent, and she took a look around. We went out of the garden hand in hand when her stomach suddenly rumbled, "Don't tell me, you are already hungry?" I questioned, and she chuckled, covering her face up. "This is so embarrassing, I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, and we both laughed. I had told several of the maids that we would clean up the garden after we left, so it wasn't a big deal. We got to a clear path where the limousine was
Lucas's POV My heart was filled with hate, and nothing seemed interesting anymore; I couldn't believe Evelyn for denying me the one thing I needed from her, so I fisted my hand violently, my slightly lengthened claws cutting into my palms and drawing blood. Maybe she deserved what happened to her because even in her sickbed, she was stubborn and unwilling to give up. Who knows, perhaps the crest isn't really needed to control the warriors, and what if the crest doesn't exist? She wouldn't subject herself to so much pain and torture if it didn't exist, right? I grumble, rubbing my hand around my head, as my thoughts are jumbled; I don't know what to do, and I can't seek advice from anybody; I can't even tell Andrea, who is busy messing around with alpha Gideon. I walked out of my room with the goal of walking about the pack and possibly calming my anxiety. I wandered around the halls and down the steps.I let out a sigh of relief as I stepped out of the pack house and took a deep b
Andrea's POVMy mind was racing with a lot of thoughts, but I had no idea what to do; I felt helpless and exhausted from all that was going on around me. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting closer to what I want, yet a minute later I feel like I'm millions of miles away. I kept having the idea that I should ask Alpha Gideon to marry me so that I would become his luna; perhaps with that, I would be able to control those warriors and fight Alpha Daniel before he and his warriors became more powerful.I know as each day passes, they are training tirelessly to prepare themselves to defeat us when the time comes, but I cannot permit this.I was busy pacing around my room while waiting for Gamma Thomas to arrive. I wanted to see him so that I could plan my strategy and determine the best course of action moving forward, including if I should let him go. I quickly went to open the door after hearing a knock and was delighted to see my gamma Thomas standing there. I pushed him inside and said
Gideon’s POV I smirked at the sky, those siblings believed they were clever, only to discover later that I was manipulating them. When they first approached the pack, I didn't recognize them. But I did my investigation to see whether they were who they claimed to be, only to discover that they shared my goals. I've always wanted to be an alpha, which I am now, and my ambition is to one day be the alpha king. All I had to do was attack Alpha Daniel and kill him, and I would take over his position. I know it's not as simple as it sounds, but this pack will be able to provide what I required, there is a large army here that I doubt even the alpha king has that many. That terrible being who is dying opted not to give me the crest, which I might use to command armies and lead them in battle; I've never seen the crest and have no idea what it looks like; I only overheard her father telling her about it, and perhaps I shouldn't have killed him so soon. I should have cajoled him as a
Evelyn’s POVMy hands were quivering and hovering, I breathed deeply, and I knew I had to assist myself because no one else would. I know Gideon so well that he wouldn't be so oblivious to Lucas's several arrivals in this cell. What if he was trying to get to me through him? Maybe when I reveal where the crest is, he'll come over and take it from me. My father made me vow to protect the crest with my life, and I intend to do so. I don't mind dying in order to safeguard that crest. When the door to the cell opened, my thoughts were startled, and I quickly reclined on the bed I was in, faking weakness; though I am weak, I am not as weak as I portray; I didn't want anybody to know the extent of my strength and use it against me. Lucas entered the room, his brow furrowed, his stare scrutinizing, and I gulped down the lump that had formed in my throat. "How are you doing?" he asked, but I ignored him. "Are you too weak to talk now?" he questioned, his voice taunting. I looked away from
Andrea’s POV I opened my mouth numerous times but nothing came out, I don't know what to do or how to protect myself, and how did I forget to shut the door today of all days? I can't believe everything I've worked so hard for is crumbling in front of me. "Alpha Gideon!" I called, but his eyes were cold; I knew there was nothing I can say to make him believe me; his eyes showed that he wanted to get me, and he did red-handed. “Guards!” he yelled and in less than a minute, guards surrounded us, and they stepped inside the room. “Take them to the dungeon, I will decide what to do with them later,” Alpha Gideon said, and my eyes widened, I wrapped the blanket around my body hastily trying to cover my nakedness. I yelled, "Let me go!" as the guard dragged me from the bed. "Please let me go!"I sobbed more, but my cry fell on deaf ears, and they ignored the fact that I was a woman and took me out of the room violently. As they took me out of the pack home, every servant that were l
Lucas’s POV I groaned as I opened my eyes, a stinging pain coursing through my head, I clasped my hands over my head, groaning; I can't believe Evelyn is that strong. Perhaps she had always pretended to be weak. I attempted to stand up from the floor, but before I could, I saw guards come over to where I was and surround me; my eyes widened in sorrow, and I couldn't believe I had been apprehended. I tried to stand up and walk to the door, but the guards seemed to know what I was up to and stopped me. I sank to the ground after being struck with the back of their blade. “The alpha has requested for your immediate arrest, for interfering in his private matters” one of the guards said, and two others came over to haul me aggressively, I tried to free myself from them but their power overcome mine. "Let me go!" I yelled as they pulled me out of the pack building and into the dungeon. “If I get out of here, I vow I won't spare you!"I yelled at them, but my words were deafeningly
Athena’s POV The sun was setting as I sat on the chair next to my dressing table, smacking my lips together after putting lipstick on my lips. Alpha Daniel and I had chosen to go on our next date, and I was already eager. I wondered what he had in store for us today, and I wouldn't be surprised if he took us to the moon. I giggled at my pointless thoughts as I heard a tap on the door, which caused me to tilt my head. "Who is that?"I asked a little louder than I wanted. “It’s me, Miriam” I heard and smiled. “Come in,” I said, and the door was pushed open, Miriam came in with Evan who jumped down from her hand as soon as he saw me, I chuckled and widened my hands for him while he ran quickly to embrace me. “That’s my boy” I cooed, and he giggled, I twirled him around a bit while he laughed heartedly and I finally dropped him down. “I will be leaving the pack house soon,” I said and Miriam nodded. “You look so beautiful and at this rate, you will become a pro soon,” she said
