I couldn’t say I was surprised seeing as not everyone approved of the idea of wolves and witches being together. They detested the idea that the two species would ever be truly together.

They wanted them to stay on their own. However, this elder was in no place to show up in my house and make demands.

He had been one of the people who had proposed the idea of shipping me out of the pack to be in foreign packs. He did not deserve my help.

He had called me highly unstable when asked why he wanted me out of the pack. He said I could be the destruction of the pack one day.

“Excuse me?” I asked, surprised he had seen me as his go-to guy for destruction.

“You know that we wolves don’t do well with the witches. It’s been a few hours and the tension between both species is higher than the peak of Alpha mountain.”

“I don’t care,” I scoffed. “You had me removed from the pack because of your stupid fears.”

“That was a time I was scared for the pack and…”

“You aren’t scared now?” I laughed
