“What the fuck is Oleander?” I demand as Blue’s body goes limp. Her pupils were like saucers as she stares at nothing.

“It’s worse than wolfsbane.” Ryan mutters. “It’s a slow poison. You need to take her to the nearest human hospital. It’s not the death of her wolf you need to worry about. If she dies, it won’t matter about her wolf.”

My mother’s gaze falls on me. “Take her Jaxon. We will catch up. I need to make sure Mr Blake won’t be going anywhere.”

Carrying Blue to the car. White foam appears in the corner of her lips. As she tries to speak, her words come out in a slur. Putting her in the back, I climb into the front where Xander is already waiting.

“The nearest human hospital is thirty miles away.”

“Then we better get going!” I snap in irritation.

Her slurs turn into screams. Gut wrenching, painful high pitched screams. She was getting weaker and weaker by the second. Her hands claw at her chest and throat. Her nails pierced her skin, leaving tracks of fresh blood.
