“You’ve died?”

He bobs his head a little and shrugs his shoulders as if it were no big deal.

“How? When?” It explained why he knew so much about what Blue was going through.

“Does it matter?”

“Can you help Blue?”

“No.”

“You’re just going to be a dick about it? You are someone that has been through this, you can help her.”

“Trust me, you don’t want me to help her.” He rises to his feet and moves into the house. What the hell was that supposed to mean?

He had already disappeared from sight when I made it inside the house. Mother was beaming at me as she hobbled along with her cane.

“What’s wrong?” She asks softly.

“Blue killed Quinn.”

“Ah. Well, I was expecting it to be you.”

“I haven’t seen that side of her before.” I keep my voice low.

“Have you spoken to Jack?”

I knew exactly what she was talking about. “He hasn’t said much.”

“He never does, not unless the information is needed.”

“What happened to him? How did his heart stop beating?”

“Zane and Ryan.” She mutters, hobbling away

1. frustrated that Jaxon is going through this again. I took a break from reading hoping the plot would differ. 2. I liked jaxon when he was with blue/Anika, now this will destroy him. 3. maybe both twins need to reject her and move on with their lives because blue never knows what she wants.
