Finally another update. I admit I struggled with this one wanting to finish the story with a good ending that would let you feel like all was good with the world. And then the last part came out. I am debating on writing Christian's story or waiting and writing the story of the pups. What would you like to see? Be sure to comment and let me know your thoughts. Thanks for all the support for The Fated Luna's Mate ... it has been a fun story to write. Hope you enjoyed it. If you have, be sure to leave a review. Ellie xo
Carrie POV I could feel the pain crushing my chest. I thought I was having a heart attack. But I knew. I knew what it meant. It meant that my mate was cheating on me once again. He had no idea I knew what it meant. He simply thought he was smarter than me. I slowly walked towards his office listening to the grunts of their sex. To his thrusts inside her core. I needed to see them. I needed to know who had betrayed me in this Pack. Who would betray their Luna. The door was slightly ajar. I saw her bent over the desk with her ass in the air. Adam was thrusting deep inside. I knew what that felt like. Sometimes he seemed possessed and simply wanted to drive as deep as possible inside of you. Sometimes it was painful, but I tolerated it because I had been raised to believe the female served the male. When I think I cannot stomach anymore, I see Adam lean down and grab the woman by her hair. He pulls her head back and I gasp
Carrie POV I watched as he started to move towards me, but his Beta put his hand on his arm. Adam could not cross the boundary, or he would automatically be rendered rogue. It was a mechanism put in place by the Wolf Council to protect rogues from unrelenting Alphas who wanted to destroy the rogue population. Many rogues deserved the punishment but many, such as women who were rejected, became those same rouges trying to get away from the hell their lives would become as rejected females. Standing tall, “I, Luna Carrie Parker, of the Blue Moon Pack reject you Alpha Adam Parker as my chosen mate and Luna of the Blue Moon Pack. I, Carrie Parker, reject and cut all ties with the Blue Moon Pack,” I yell quickly to get the words out before he can stop me. I see him fall to his knees in pain, while the rage that crosses his face intensifies. “You will return to me at once, Carrie Parker!” Adam screams at me. I see him grab his chest and I relish in
Carrie POV I follow behind the rogue ensuring that I will not bump into her again. She knows I am there as every so often I hear her growl and mutter to herself. I cannot hear what she is saying but I know she is muttering something about me. I cannot help following her. I am terrified of being left out here alone. “Can’t you just speak to me? I just want to get out of this forest, and I will be on my way,” I choke out trying to speak around the dryness in my mouth. “Do you think if there was a way out, I would not have already taken it?” she snarls. “What do you mean?” I ask. “You can leave, but you will always be dragged back here,” she says mystically. “I want to leave … to find a better life. Maybe a new Pack. A better way of living,” I tell her. She stops and turns to look at me. “Why the hell would you want to do that?” she asks me. “I lost my wolf somewhere along the way. I need to be around people who will not see that as a wea
Carrie POV The sprite like she-wolf was first to get out of the water. She laid down on the ground to dry off her damp skin. I cautiously approached the edge of the stream to rinse the blood off my face and the splatters that I could see on my arms. “What’s your story, newbie?” the sprite asks as she lays out in the warm sun, eyes closed. “I do not have a story,” I say not sure I wanted to trust this woman. She opens one eye and looks to me, “We all have a story,” she says softly. “What is yours?” I ask looking away from her. Her unique eyes intimidate me. She might be small, but she is a powerhouse. She closes her eyes once again, “Same story as everyone else. I met my mate, he decided I was not good enough, and rejected me,” she replies. “How did you end up here?” I ask confused. Just because someone rejects you does not mean you are banished from your Pack. “I tried to kill the woman he picked over me,” she says wit
Carrie POV I do not know how long we traipsed through the forest. It felt like days, but we had not even hit nightfall yet. I knew I was out of shape, but this was ridiculous. “I need a break,” I say panting to the two women. They both sigh, looking at me annoyed. “I need water,” I add hoping there was a brook close by. Jessica led the way wordlessly towards the water. I raced around her dropping to my knees and scooping up as much water as I could. “Why didn’t you say so earlier?” Mandy asked as she bent down to lap up some water as well. Jessica stood there looking around us. “I do not like this,” she murmurs. Mandy is immediately on alert standing and moving towards Jessica. “What?” she asks. “It is too quiet,” she says as Mandy listens and nods. I take more water before standing, “What does that mean?” I ask. “It means we are either about to be ambushed, or we have stumbled onto someone else’s territory,” Mandy says as she looks aro
Trigger warning – might be difficult for some to read. Does not end in rape.Carrie POV I stood there paralyzed in fear. The wolf in front of me takes a whiff. “I love that scent: fear,” he says with a smirk. He starts to reach out to me when he pauses. “Wait a minute; there was a call out a while ago for a reward if someone came across a blond rogue. She fits your description. But how did you end up with these two so quickly? Rogues do not welcome others so easily,” he considers as he starts to move around me. I say nothing, simply standing there. I can feel myself visibly shaking as he comes around to stand in front of me. His erection standing tall for all to see. “Yet here we are. You smell new enough. I wonder,” he ponders as he stares at me. “Nothing to say I cannot sample the goods, mind you. You are not pure. Someone’s runaway mate perhaps?” he asks as he steps closer. I take a step back from him starting to realize he is ser
Carrie POV He falls in front of me, reaching his hand out to me, his face a mask of fear realizing he is dying. I am frozen as I watch the man die. A man I killed. To save myself I remind myself. I feel someone’s hand on my shoulder and scream, not realizing it was Jessica. I throw myself into her arms as the horror of what almost happened overwhelms me. She smooths my hair out putting her hands on my face and looking me in the eyes. “You survived. You did it,” she reminds me over and over until I take a calming breath. “I killed him,” I say. “You did what you had to do to survive,” she replies. Nodding I was alright I look over to Mandy’s broken body and stand rushing over to her. We gently untangle her limbs and start to run our hands over her fur. As we do, she shifts into her human form. I can see that she has a broken leg and arm. I cannot tell if her wolf is strong enough to heal her. I feel tears fill my eyes, “There is no room
Carrie POV We had no idea what we were going to do or where we were going but we knew we needed to keep moving. Though we had made it this far, we did not trust that someone was not after us. We had heard various sounds throughout our journey to advise rogues were still looking for us. I had shared with Jessica and Mandy that there was an offer of a reward to whomever found me. It had terrified me but made Jessica more determined to get out of the forest. “We need to keep moving. They cannot find you or we are all dead,” Jessica says as she kept us moving forward. “What are we going to do now that we are here?” Mandy asks. This is the first she has spoken since she woke up. She was still limping, and we knew she was in pain, but she had kept up with the pace Jessica had set. “I will get a job,” I say to them both. They stop to look at me, “Doing what?” they ask with smirks. “I can work in a restaurant. I was Luna in our Pack. I
