"What can I do about you?" I asked in a cold tone and bit my lower lips as I watched her stomp away.

I took a deep breath and tried to console the anger that seeped through me. I wonder what's her connection with the mountain.

She keeps insisting to know more about the mountain. I believe that she might be the curious type but at the same time, I wasn't expecting her to be persistent about the whole thing. There's more about it than I think.

I need to find out what she's trying to figure out.

I glanced at the mountain and walked out of the bushes, and took a stroll to the route that leads to my office.

"I want you to surround the mountain with a barricade tape and make sure no one passes the limit, not even my mate," I mind-linked to the chief of guards as I arrived at my office.
