Chapter 22: Eavesdropping

I rolled on the bed for the umpteenth. I found out hard to sleep even though I forced myself to. I have been feeling lonely and bored in such a big chamber. Even when I tried to take a nap to clear the boredom, I find it hard to sleep.

I stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face with the water that rushed from the running tap.

I walked out of the bathroom and dried my face with a clean white.

I groaned out with a sigh and threw the novel in my left hand away. It's quite frustrating that despite how hard I tried to kill the boredom in the room, I still find it hard to concentrate on the book.

I have tried everything possible in the room to make sure that I don't feel bored but it wasn't working out. Everything doesn't seem right. The only option that I could only think of was to leave my room.

I liked the idea but once again I remembered the warning that Asher gave me before leaving the room. He told me not to his house until he's back from
