I was determined to create a bond of my own with Katherine, Jade had done his part and convinced her to feel something for him. If we really were mated, I had a shot at it too.

I wasn’t naive, it was more of jealousy. But I had nothing to worry about because we all were mated to one another. My plan was to talk about it with her, she was also mine so the attention shouldn’t have to be divided.

Briskly, I walked down the hallway, already having her scent lingering in my head. Her room was close and all I wanted was to talk to her and make her understand things everyone does for their loved ones.

The door to her room wasn’t closed, it was slightly opened ajar and at first it didn’t occur to me to knock, but when it finally did, it was already too late because my subconsciousness had taken over and had opened the door.

And very much surprisingly, I met my mates right there.

“What the hell guys!” I snapped, closing the door behind me so no one else saw them in that position.
