Staring up at the ceiling, I laid down on my bed, unable to move and unable to speak. It was unlike me but saying that I was weak was definitely an understatement.

I could move if I pushed myself enough but I felt too tired and dizzy to do anything.

It definitely had to be insomnia because I was either haunted by my dreams or the pain from the parasite curse growing in me was stronger than it was in the day. I never told anyone about it because the last thing I wanted was to be a liability.

I managed to push through my days with a smile on my face and the nights without sleep. It's why I always wake up late in the mornings.

It was almost midnight and I was sure everyone had fallen asleep. I hissed out loud when I figured that sleep was very far from me. So after a few deliberations within myself, I decided to roll myself out of bed and get milk in the kitchen.
