Ming Yue

This world where I was reborn to is called Gaia. It was way different than the world where I came from, the Hue Realm. Here, every task seems easy and faster to do with the help of technology.They have car instead of carriages and sedans. Here they have shower ,bath tub, phone, internet and many others. 

Year 2058, where everything was at it's peak  wether it is in academic, arts, business, agriculture, entertainment and other industry.

Meaning, Gaia is a more advanced yet two world are flourishing.

There are seven continents in Gaia.

Asia, which where I currently living. Also the largest continent among the seven.

Then Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. 

From the largest to smallest continent respectively.

How did I know all of this?

Of course I did my research as we have a computer in our home.

I saw mommy one time using the computer and I let her teach me how to use it.

4:20 A.M

It's still early when my Mama and I woke up and take a bath. As we have a small restaurant to run so my mom will always wake up very early to buy the needed ingredients to cook the food that we serves in our simple restaurant. 

There is no one to look after me so Mama brings me to the market everytime. 

Because grandma and grandpa live in the province where my mom grew up, she just move out since she was accepted at a top Culinary School here in the Capital City of Arinea Country, Peony City. 

My mom graduated as the top student in the same school, Culinary Institute of Arinea.

She then hired in a 3-star Michelin restaurant as soon as she graduated. After one year she became the Head Chef for four years but she retired as she give birth to a child.

Since then she stayed for good here in the capital and would visit them in their province sometimes.

When she got pregnant, she didn't let her parents to know that's why when the original baby was sick, the first person she could think of is of course, the father of her child, that man name Liu Kang.

She just informed her parents when the child, which is me turned 1 year old.

My grandma is very gentle and sweet. 

While grandpa is a bit strict but still as loving as grandma.

I also love them very much.

As I didn't meet my grandparents in my past life.

That's why I treasure them even more.

We also visit them once in a while or sometimes they are the one visiting us here in the Capital.

We arrived at the busy and lively market with just a twenty minutes of riding my mom's car.

The market here and the market in my world is almost the same. Still noisy as ever.

It's almost six a.m before we finished cooking some of the dishes, of course I just help washing the ingredients.

We opened our small restaurant at exactly six thirty in the morning. 

By the way, for the information. Our house is a two storey. The first floor for the restaurant. While the second is our real home.

Our two dishwasher and two server arrived short after so our business starts.

Students , blue-collar and some white-collar neighbors are our main costumer so our restaurant can earn a money enough for our needs and wants.

"Big sisters here is your order!"

I said while handing the tray to the two regular costumers.

This is the kind of life I want in the past. Simple yet happy life. Because in the Palace, you must be cautious and vigilant everytime as it could lead to your death if you aren't careful enough.

"Ohh! Xiu Lan is so cute!"

Giggled the beautiful lady in the right while pinching my cheeks.

The girl is wearing a floral spaghetti strap dress, complementing her creamy white skin. Her face is covered in a light make up enhancing the contour of her already beautiful facial features. Her outfit was completed with a 3-inch white sandals while her long wavy brown hair is styled with a two white butterfly hairpin in the two side of her head.

"Thank you beautiful big sister Fu Ya!"

I gave her a smile and she squealed beautifully and pinch my cheeks again.

'Beautiful people looks pleasing no matter what they do. Even while crying.'

I grinned at my thoughts.

"What about me Xiu Lan?"

Jokingly asked by the other young woman.

She is wearing a white long sleeved crop top with a fitted grey colored pants. Hugging her pair of long and slender legs. She paired it with a red high heeled sandals, making her look even taller. 

Her hair was tied into a clean ponytail revealing her sexy neckline. While her face, which is very similar to the other have a make up but more darker but it can still consider light. 

"You're beautiful too big sister Fu Yun!"

Fu Ya and Fu Yun are twin sisters so they both look a like.

"Great! See that?! My cute and adorable Xiu Lan said that I'm more beautiful than you! Humph!"

Fu Yun spat at her twin sister. Her expression really looks like a proud peacock. It looks beautiful yet comical.

'The bickering battle of the twins began again.

Sometimes. Acting like a child is tiring but it's bearable. I grew up in the Palace, where people are great actors so it's still okay.'

"Lan'er you're be late in school!"

I didn't took noticed that mom was already in my back from the kitchen as she reminded me.

I look up to her and give her my most adorable smile then hugged her.

'Child's charm is lethal to any adult.'

After changing my casual clothes into my school uniform mom send me to a preschool center, where I study which is thirty minutes drive away from our home. If not traffic.

She send me into my classroom and kissed me before she bid a goodbye. That I replied with a kiss in the cheeks.

"Bye Mama!"

"Lanlan here!!"

A very loud and immature voice greeted me as soon as I enter the classroom.

The voice is from a lovely three-year old girl that is waving cutely, so that I can notice her.

She is Ming Yue my self proclaimed bestfriend since last year. 

I started attending preschool when I was two years old and Ming Yue was the one who befriend me first.

'So she can be considered as my bestfriend as she says.

Her looks is really endearing in our school uniform but her personality is clearly not. Hehe'

"You're so loud Yueyue!"

A boy berated Yueyue, trying to be stern but that pouty lips and chubby cheeks expression is just screaming 'cuteness'.

"Humph! Shut up fatty!"

Retorted Yueyue while putting her hands on her chest, looking like a bratty princess.

'See? Still a child yet already domineering. Not cute at all'
