Chapter 33 - Jagger Bolton

Jagger POV

“Jagger, go through the back door,” Wyatt says through the earpiece. I immediately run around the farmhouse. When I reach the back door, it’s wide open, and I look around, trying to find the doctor. He has to go on foot; there are no marks of cars in the back.

“Door is open,” I say, and before I receive the order, I run in the direction of the woods in the back of the house, passing the barn but stopping to check the doors. Locked. He won’t be inside. He wouldn’t have had the time to open and lock himself inside. Besides the locker is on the outside of the barn.

I keep running, and when I reach the clearing, I stop looking around, picking up some footprints. Slowly I bend and look at the direction the footprints will lead me to. “In the forest,” I bark at everyone listening to the call connected to the earpieces we are all wearing.

Jagger seemed to be a fine man, but I don't know why in this chapter he is so into another world. Maybe killing people makes him turn psycho
