Chapter: Seven

2024-10-29 19:42:56"Well hello there boys, were you able to find everything I needed?" My mother asked as she walked over to us woth a few Omegas to unload the stuff from my truck. I nodded to her and continued to tell her that we ran into my mate at the shop as well. She smilled and thanked us for going.
The guys and I settle down for the evening after a very good dinner as always. Chris and Nate are playing video games as usual and I'm sitting here in my over sized recliner flipping through the channels when I hear my cell phone goes off with a new text. My mate had finally texted me to say that her friends are fine with me and the guys coming over and to bring trunks and change of clothes. This is going to be awesome! I thought to myself. "OH MY GODDESS!!! We're going to see mate in a swimsuit!!" Max is going crazy with excitment, zooming around while wagging his tail. "Dude! Chill out!" I say. He just huffs and slams a wall up. Nate looks back at me while I'm just sitting here with a huge smile on my face. "Rick, what's up with you bro?" He asked, "Ash just texted to let us know that it was fine with her friends for us to come and to bring trunks and change of clothes." Chris jumps up with a weird look. "Are you sure it's a good idea? What if there's an altercation or something and we need to shift?" I think for a bit, he does have a point. "I'm hoping nothing like that would happen, We'll just have to keep our cool ." I know Chris means well and I understand his concern. I say goodnight to the guys and make my way to my fathers office where I find my mother as well. "I'm turning in for the night, love you both." I say as I hug and kiss my mother on her cheek. "Goodnight baby, love you too. I just can't wait to finally meet your mate honey!" She says "Goodnight son, I'm sure your mate is lovely, I'm pretty sure your mother is already making plans and dreaming of grandpups." I look over to my mother who has a shocked look as my father lets out a deep chuckle. I head on over to my room and get a quick shower then get my shorts on and jump in my huge king sized bed. I can't help but to think to myself. I can't wait for my mate, my love to be lying right next to me, she's just so perfect. So damn happy that I saved myself just for her. I start to drift off dreaming about mybeautiful mate and soon to be Luna to be at my side forever.. (Ashs POV) I'm woken up by these two crazy ass best friends of mine by Kim running into my room with Toni right behind her and jumping on my bed yelling happy birthday as loud as they can. I slowly open my eyes and give them the most evil look i possibly can make, but they just laugh and stick their tongues out. I strech out which causes Kim to get pushed off the foot of the bed. "What the hell was that for, ya shit head!" She all but yells at me, but I just roll over and ignore her while covering myself back up. She leaves my room and I start drifting off to sleep. Unfortunately, the door swings open again with a hard thud. Kim runs back in and tries to jump on my bed again but she over does it and bounces right off the other side, landing with a loud thud of her own. "What in the hell is wrong with you, ya damn crazy weirdo?" I yell while laughing. "Oh you hush it! I was trying to jump on you again but it back fired, and now my poor ass hurts." She says as she stands up while rubbing her backside. "Get your ass up and get ready, lover boy Rick will be here soon." She says with a wink. I throw one of my pillows at her but she smacks it away. UGH!!! this is going to be a very long day. Once showered and ready with my swimsute on under my shorts and a see through tank top, I make my way down the stairs and see Kim and Toni setting some things up along with a few others that are helping out. I happen to someone I havn't seen in a very long time. Paul who happens to be Kims ex husband is at thegrill getting it preped for when it's time to cook. It's about about 11AM and I suddenly start feeling very dizy. Along with a very bad headach that came out of nowhere. It feels as though there is something that is inside my head trying to scratch its way out of my skull. We still had a few hours till it was time to leave, so I picked my phone up to give Ash a call. (Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring) "Hello? Ash's Phone, Toni speaking." I hear her one friend say when she answers Ash's phone. "Hello, is Ash around?" I ask "She's laying down for a little while, Is this Rick?" She asks "Yes it is, I was going to ask Ash if she didn't mind us coming over early, we can also help out if needed." I say and I can hear them in the back ground giggling. "It's alright with us, I'm sure Ash would love for you to be the one to wake her up anyways." I laugh. Toni sent me the address so the guys and I put our stuff in my truck then we headed over to the barn where I was sure to find my mother and father would be. My father was cleaning up the tack room and my mother was in one of the stalls brushing a horse that my father just brought home yesterday. I let them know that we are heading out to go to Ash's place and to link me if they need anything. I'm so exc

Ash looks up at me, "I had a feeling something might be going to happen, something life changing. My mother and grandfather would always tell me that I was special. I wasn't to sure what they were even talking about, I just thought it was just my very good skills working with all the horses I worked with , like they could understand me or something." She stops talking and lets out a long shaky sigh. I then notice a single tear slowly roll down her cheak. "It's like they have known that I was different from the beginning." All of a sudden, I am hit with a sharp stinging pain that shoots right through my whole body. The pain was so intense that I ended up letting out a scream. A few seconds leter, there was someone banging on my bedroom door. " Ash, are you alright?" I hear Rick's voice which seems to settle me, but not enough. I let out another scream and droop down to the shower floor. I hear my bedroom door being kicked in and see Rick hurring over to me. With tears running down my face, I look up at him as he wraps me up in a big fluffy towl and holds me close to his body. "Please, make it stop! It hurts so much." I manage to say just before darkness takes over me. (Ricks POV) "Mate! Mate is going through her shift!" Max all but yells in my head. The Last Werewolf Chapter: ONE
Ash, short for Ashley will beturning 18 in just a few days. It's been pretty normal growing up. It's just been Ash, her mother and her grandfather for as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, she don't really know much about her father. All she knows is that he stopped coming around whenshe was only maybe 6 or 7 years old. Whenever Ash wasn't in school, her grandfather would take her to a family friends place, which is a farm with so many different kinds of animals, and of course her favorites are the horses. She lerned how to care for all the animals along with caring for her very own horse Ash loves going out on long trail rides. She would go along with some of the other people and go on weekend long camping trips with their horses. They would get everything set up along with a really good camp fire, the ones with the horses would saddle up and head out for a afternoon ride. When they returned, they get the horses some food and water for the rest of the night.

As they are enjoying the food, Ash starts to catch wind of a odd smell that is or could be the best she has ever smelled in her entire life. 'What is that amazing smell?' She thought to herself as she looked around for the source. Pine wood forest mixed with fresh rain fall. (Rick's POV) I am the soon to be Alpha of one of the few Lycan packs in North America. The Forest Mountain Pack is located in the deep wilderness of the very beautiful state of Tennassee. Our current Alpha, Alpha Alix Morris will be passing his title to me in a few months so that he can finally retire and spend more time with his mate, our packs Luna, and also my mother, Luna Ava.
