Chapter: ELEVEN

     All of a sudden, I am hit with a sharp stinging pain that shoots right through my whole body. The pain was so intense that I ended up letting out a scream. A few seconds leter, there was someone banging on my bedroom door. " Ash, are you alright?" I hear Rick's voice which seems to settle me, but not enough. I let out another scream and droop down to the shower floor.

     I hear my bedroom door being kicked in and see Rick hurring over to me. With tears running down my face, I look up at him as he wraps me up in a big fluffy towl and holds me close to his body. "Please, make it stop! It hurts so much." I manage to say just before darkness takes over me.

      (Ricks POV)

     "Mate! Mate is going through her shift!" Max all but yells in my head. Shit! this is all happening fast, Then I hear her scream then I take off up the steps to her room. The others following fast up behind me as well.  I knock on her door and call out to her, but all we hear is another scream. I chick in the door while saying I'll get it fixed later on.

     I find Ash on the shower floor huddled up in a ball with tears running down her face. I grab a towl and wrap her up in it while Kim turns the water off. I carry her to the bed keeping her wrapped up and aginst my chest for comfort. She looks up at me asking me to please make the pain stop but then she passes out. "What is wrong?  What is going on with her?" Kim asks with confusion on her face. "You guys may want to sit down for what you are about to hear." I tell them as bring Ash onto my lap.

     "Myself, Chris and also Nate here are known as Lycans, Ash here is a werewolf shifter, and is pretty much the last of her kind." I say as Kim and Toni both look at me with wide eyes. "So, it's true then." We hear Paul say as he walks over to me and Ash and puts the back of his hand to her fourhead. A low growl slips mast my lips as another male is touching my mate. "What the hell are you talking about?" Kim shouts with tears in her eyes.

     Paul looks to each of us and takes in a deep breath and sighs. "I am what is called a Visionary, I have been here for centuries guiding the wolf shifters. I have been tracking the blood lines for a very long time" We all looked at him with questioning faces. I myself never heard of his kind,I just may have to have a talk with my parents to see if they might know of anything. . . . . Paul then continues. 

     "I have been keeping watch over her as she has gotten older throughout the years. All the heartach and pain that she has been through broke my heart. when she was about 6 or 7 her father left and never came back, he was a wolf shifter. Once she was about 10 or so I was able to get a little closer without any issues, all because I fell in love with a human who happened to be Ash's best friend." Paul looks over to Kim with with a small smile. As we are listening to him, we started hearing cracking,then Ash screams once more. Paul rushes over to Ash and I "She's shifting now!" He yells out overr the sound of Ashs screams.

     Slow motion was in full swing as we all witnessed the shift right before our very eyes. First, light gray fur starting sprouting all over her body from herarms to her legs, well pretty much everywhere. Nate and Chris tried their best to keep Toni and Kim as calm as possible while I tend to Ash and Paul watches on just incase he is needed.

     After what seems like hours, but really has only been minutes, Ash is fully transformed into a beautiful light gray, almost white wolf with a black marking on her forhead that is the shape of a half moon.

      (Ashs POV)

     I really don't remember much, other than the blinding pain I felt all over my body. I do remember hearing my very own screams, and then I heard Ricks sexy voice telling me not to fight aginst the shift. . . .Wait a damn freaking minute!! I'm a freaking werewolf! I yell in my head to myself.  What everyone else heard was a low rumble of a growl. Once Star opened her eyes, I was finally able to see everything that she sees,  and it is amazing.
