“How is Miria?” Jai asked as they walked to the main square.

“She is alright. I asked her to not do anything too heavy for her. She still cooks and cleans, but she was starting to get easily tired. Wen’s mom told me she is sleeping twice in daytime now. So I told her to only cook and let the cleaning chores to Wen’s mom or let it be until I got home,” Barun answered with his eyes slightly downward.

“What is Miria suffering from, uncle?”

Barun frowned, “Ice inflictions... The doctor was not sure what sickness it is, so he called it that.”

Darrion frowned, “Ice inflictions? What are the symptoms?”

“There were no symptoms. But sometimes when it acted up, Miria gets tired real fast and she feels very cold. She said it’s just how one would catch a cold, but there’s no warmth felt at all. Just plain... Cold.”
