“Do you really have to leave?” Miria asked as she gave Jai his bag. She had filled the bag with a set of clothes. Jai had told her that some of the battles had the tendency to ruin clothes, so he asked her not to pack too many clothes. But she packed him two sets just in case.
Jai smiled, “The training’s in two days. I have plans with my friends before that.”
“What plans?” Miria frowned.
“Auntie Darisha insisted we prepare together in the kingdom. She said it will be easier to prepare there so that we would get more tools and things needed for the training.”

The Last Thunder 102 – Meeting The Committee
Darrion sighed a very long sigh. Even though he’s not on board with Jai’s decision, he couldn’t do anything except taking him to the Minister’s building. It was where the committee was at, because they were working under the Minister.If by any chance he was the one on the top three, he would not let it go just like that. Well… If he wasn’t a windlet, he would deliberately think about it for days before deciding what he would do. Jai did really look like he was deep in thought when they were taking a bath, but Darrion didn’t think he would decide this fast.Being the kingdom’s guard through a tournament is not an everyday lunch. It should be either to make a new elite group or well, they would probably have more privileges and access.“Do you still remember what I said?” Darrion asked as he looked Jai in the eyes. He didn’t want his friend to convey his feelings in the wrong way and make the committee misunderstood his wish.

“Wooohhoo!! This is what I’m talking about!” Darrion shouted excitedly. The blonde stretched both of his hands to the side like Rose did in the front of the Titanic. He was trying to feel the wind breezing past his body.The blonde laughed, “Do you feel it Jai?! Do you feel the wind?!” Darrion yelled as he tilted his head a bit.Jai stood a few feet behind the blonde, shielding his eyes from the overly breezy wind coming at them from the front. He knew he should’ve refused when Darrion asked him to come here. He should’ve just stayed in the front deck with everyone. The Last Thunder 104 - Corus Mausoleum
After they leave the ship, the committees escorted the great teachers inside immediately while the participants were gathered at the front door. Jai couldn’t help but be reminded of those giant doors in Asgard. He remembered that in one of Thor’s movies where his sister was introduced, his sister was chasing the Asgardians to the mountain and came across a pair of giant doors. This giant double door looked almost exactly like the ones in the movie, except it was shaped into an arch rather than a simple long rectangle. There were also carvings on the door. It was a very intricate design and Jai was impressed by the detailed artwork.“I hope there will be no angry chicks chasing me here demanding a throne or a possessed ring,”Jai hoped silently. This place looked exactly like those fantasy movies he ever watched in the past. The monochrome, the relief and statues, the jagged rocks everywhere, the cold wind blowing, the mist… Oh yeah, he’s living the dream.
The Last Thunder 105 – No Excuses
Jai and Darrion walked side by side towards the direction of the Teacher’s Wing. They both decided that they would apologize to both Teacher Sora and Officer Mark tonight, and they would start from Teacher Sora who was closer in distance.They asked Granger, the monk that escorted Torfo to the Minister’s room, for directions. So here they were, following the directions.They passed some corridors where they passed some people on the way. The monks and nuns, and the committees, were all walking around the place and looked busy. They asked one of the monks about it and found out that because dinner was being prepared.“Since we would be sharing our few days here with you and the honorary people of the tournament, our Abbess and Abbot both wanted your stay here to be pleasant. After all, it’s been years since a collaboration like this, and our chiefs are both looking forward to giving you a good experience in the mausoleum,” Harry the monk explained.“

Jai entered the room that he shared with Darrion, feeling very refreshed. He took turns with the others in taking a bath. Jai agreed to go last because he needed to wash his clothes due to the soup incident, so he would take a longer time. But Darrion saw Jai looked uncomfortable already, which makes sense because the soup probably made him all sticky. So Darrion gave up his turn for him, meaning the blonde would be the last one to take a bath.“I’m done.
