When Jai walked on the stage, the audience clapped their hands for him, whistling, and shouted his name. All of them were congratulating him for winning the third position.

Jai felt a warm feeling spreading from his core, and he’s sure it wasn’t the little lightning. Winning something with your own effort and congratulated for it did feel very good.

Jai approached the MC who was standing in the middle of the stage. Reala the bird immediately tried rubbing her head on Jai's head like their previous meetings, but he stopped her. 

"Sorry, Reala. My hair looks good right now and I don't want to mess with it. You can rub your head on my shoulder instead," Jai nervously said.

The bird chirped tilted her head a bit and stared at him for a few seconds. Jai thought she didn’t understand what he just said, but then she chirped softly and rubbed her head on his upper arm instead. It seemed like she respected Jai's rej
