The elders yelled over each other's voices while the rest of the non-vampires watched them. Marinette closed her eyes and let her dark nature enfold her. From her body exploded dark energy and shadows, snuffing out the lights and blocking the light of the moon from getting in. Everywhere went silent with a thick fear, so solid a knife wouldn't be able to penetrate through. Never had they seen such in their entire lives. The shadows and shadow demons flew around them, cackling and giggling, some shouting the cries of the dead. Marinette stood tall in the air in her true form, a legless damsel with death in her hair, and poison in the tip of her tongue. Her pale bluish-white skin glowed in the midst of her darkness whirling around her feet as she levitated seven feet from the ground. "Upon you all I bring the victim to speak for herself," her voice echoed in the room, the icy deadly sound bouncing off the walls and dancing back to them, sending cold air down their spines and tingling on
Her heart thumps against her chest, and she looks around for Leaf and Ann. They were gone as well. Then she saw them, Leaf in the middle of the eastern side of the ballroom, kneeling in a circle as she muttered something with eyes closed. She traced the line of the circle with her eyes, tracing it to Ann who was doing the same thing at the western part of the room. Her eyes followed it to the southern side, where her sister knelt, doing the same thing. Quickly following the lines, it ended on her, she was in the north, in a black circle. What they were doing suddenly crossed her mind, she looked at the floor Ace and Ivy stood, they were in a circle. It all made sense, Ace was acting. He first lured her into the circle which connected all the other circles together and then said all those words to make it seem real. The kiss meant nothing, he was distracting her. She looked at her shadow monsters, they could see what was happening but didn't utter a word, Darcy was involved. ‹Close yo
Fate is the most mysterious force in existence, many say you can change it because it's destiny, but I don't think you can change it except you are wyrd to change your fate but yet again, there's the word, fate is included. I don't even know what I'm saying but I guess I'm right in what I'm saying. It was my destiny to stop so many deaths, the lame ass who got suffered was the one to save so many lives. I'm sure if those who suffered me to find out that I saved their lives, they would be gobsmacked. What have our lives been since then? Good question. Marielle graduated with the others while doing her queenly practice. Immediately after she graduated, she was fully crowned a queen and I must say she has been doing a splendid job. She built a beautiful tomb of pure gold and precious stones, there she buried the ashes of Ivy and Sibyl and buried their memories. The days of their death became an annual celebration for all vampires far and wide, a lovely celebration just for the vampire pr
My feet scurried fast on the wet ground, my heart beating faster than my chest could take. I could barely breathe and my feet hurt a whole lot but I had to get away, far, far away from the dogs chasing me. I didn't like the idea of being someone's meal for the day, at least, not today. They were catching up, all I needed was a clever turn to escape and I would be free for three days. With one last look over my shoulder, I jumped into the crowd of busy people, letting them hide me until I was safe away from them; the dogs. My heart leapt with joy, I was no longer a prey for the next three days, I was free! My happiness morphed into horror as I came to the familiar route to the dreadful hostel I stayed at. If I escaped from the hellhounds, I sure wouldn't be free from Maribeth and her group of plastic doll wannabes. The mean popular hot girls I shared a hostel with. Oh well, today isn't my first bad day. I did the sign of the cross as I came face to face with the hostel gate, the ope
"She's waking up!" Someone squealed with excitement. "Do we need the doctor?" I knew who it was, Felicity. Before I passed out, I had the nurse call her over. "No, she'll be fine," the voice of a woman I strongly believe is the nurse's said calmly. "Don't stress her out." I heard her footsteps before the gentle closing of the door. I forced my eyes open then, she was there still staring at me. "Hey, you okay?" She asked softly. "I know you are not but I mean—" "It's okay," I gasped out and coughed. "I'm thirsty." "Oh! Don't mind me!" She quickly picked up the covered glass of water on the table and brought it to me. She helped tilt my head up and brought the glass to my lips before I drank a little. "Thank you," I whispered. She saluted with an unusual extra wide grin. "How long have I been out?" "Three days. The doctors said you needed the rest." I nodded. "Thank you, Felicity." "You know, I always thought that you'll be from a poverty stricken home, a family of lame asses but
DAYS LATER It all happened like a dream, one moment I was being beaten and molested, and the next I was in Marielle's car, grinning at the trees she drove past. I was going to live with her, I knew I would live just great. "Welcome to Vamperville," I read out the words written boldly in Italian on a big brown billboard. She stepped on the gas and drove faster, I felt something pass through me, it was ticklish. "Where are we? I've never heard of Vamperville before," I said as a matter of fact. "That is the old name, they should have put it down by now," she murmured, slowing down the speed as she peered out of her window. "The new name's Twilight Myths." "That's a really strange name," I confessed. "And this town, it's here in USE?" "We have other strange places, one no human is aware of. Anyways, my college name is Twilight Castle. The school is pretty strange, I hope you won't pass out when you find out later." She said with a very sweet teasing smile, I shrugged it off as a joke
Getting used to my new life was as easy as eating cake. I was still waiting for bullies to bully me but unlike the other time, I knew I had someone to protect me, watch over me. For the first three weeks I spent with her, she took me shopping for new clothes outside my comfort zone, took me to a spa where I was taken good care of, dragged me to a salon to treat my hair and showed me around town. She taught me what to say and do at each place I went to, how to act and what expression to wear and above all, she was teaching me some basic self-defence moves. The city is strange, I must admit that. She went out a few times and was back in a hurry, and said she didn't want her present to be known yet so she would have more time for me. On that day, she powdered me up and I must confess, I looked like a silicone barbie doll, just the right amount of perfect. My black hair amazingly stopped at the small of my back, how she did it, you tell me! She made sure to give it a glossy impeccable str
"Easy, kitty, I don't bite," the person laughed. I turned to the person and screamed again. The guy was freaking tall, flaming head and eyes with a scar, like the scar Mufasa's brother had but his was glowing lava. "Hey! Stop screaming!" He shouted. I continued screaming until he clamped his hand over mine, his hot hand! I jumped away from him, fanning my mouth. "Oh, I'm so sorry, didn't mean to… did I burn you?" No, you gave me a fairytale kiss, you idiot. I calmed down and held my heart. "No, sorry I screamed so much, you startled me." He flashed me a toothy grin. Wow, he's gorgeous. "Sorry, I'm Ace." "Marinette," I said, taking his hand. "I will put this away," he grinned, his flames burnt out. His peachy orange skin turned pale white, his eyes bright yellow, like the sun and his weird spiky razor waterfall somewhat like hair turned ginger with a flaming fire edge. The hair almost looked like one of those anime prince's, perfect for his face. Holy perfection, kill me now! My m
