Lifting up a cloth Arementa had given me, I wiped some of the blood off of Prince Barlion's skin.

I didn't dare touch his wound again after I had pressed his top to stop the blood.

The Prince had groaned in pain, glaring at me for not warning him before I touched his cut.

Arementa had stepped in, taking over the wound.

She took one look at the wound and her face wrinkled as if she too could feel his pain.

Arementa cleaned his wound and brought out a needle to close the cut. She had mentioned that it would have been better to have a fresh wound.

Because when a healing wound is torn with force, it would be ten times worse and painful to close back.

Prince Barlion had closed his eyes, clenching his jaw and hands as hard as he could while Arementa closed his cut.

Unlike me, Arementa looked like she knew what she was doing. Every close she made was delicate and she sew his skin perfectly.

Whenever Prince Barlion would let out a groan, Arementa wasn't fazed, but I was close to passing out.
