“S!” My mother exclaimed. “You did it!” I span around to face my mother and Nate, who both possessed wide grins on their faces. My mother threw her arms around me, almost squeezing the life out of me. “I knew you could do it” she smiled. “Hopefully next time I won’t almost have us struck by lightening beforehand” I shook my head in disbelief, as I mentally replayed the havoc I had recently caused. “It would be nice” my mother laughed, before kissing me on the cheek. “I’m proud of you, S”. “Thanks, mum”. I turned to Nate, who was watching me with pride evident in his expression. His raven hair was slightly blowing as a gentle breeze pushed past us. The sun was shining down onto his tanned face, illuminating his sharp jaw line and cheekbones. He looked so handsome.

Before me stood my deliciously handsome mate. The speed of my heart rate dramatically increased as I took in his appearance. There he was, in all his glory, the King himself. His velvety, black tailored suit fit him perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. His fitted shirt was crisp white and was complimented with a black bow tie. His raven locks were brushed neatly to the side, but his hair or suit wasn’t the centre of attention. His imperial crown sat perfectly on his head, demonstrating his importance and status. Silence surrounded the room as the guests became unsure on what to say. I turned my attention from Nate to the crowd before me and I was met with many different facial expressions. I suddenly became very conscious of the fact that I was restrained, as the metal cuffs limited any movement from my arms and legs. Nate stood before me, with his lips partially parted as his deep, green eyes gazed down at me.
