Fifty Five

Nate’s POV

After an exhaustingly long morning of training, I finally found my way back to my office. Since coming home from the Blue Crescent Pack, training had been full on. There wasn’t a chance in hell I would allow Serena’s plan to confront Skylar come into fruition if she wasn’t 100% ready.

But frankly, I’d never known her take her training as seriously as she had been over the last couple of days. I was convinced I’d woken up in a parallel universe when she was readily awaiting her first training session at 6am yesterday morning. Getting her out of bed is a task at the best of times, yet there she was stood at the bedroom door impatiently tapping away as I was yet to wake up.
