Splash!

The river water was extremely cold on all sides.

Sienna Lang opened her eyes in shock and found herself submerged in the water. She was suffocating, and her chest cavity was about to explode!

What was happening? She wasn't dead yet, was she? How did she get into the water?

Sienna did not have time to think as she rose up and swam upstream. Thankfully, the water was not as deep as she had anticipated. She then emerged from the water.

On the shore, dozens of pairs of eyes stared at her in unison in apparent disbelief.

“How did she come up? I thought she couldn’t swim!”

A throng of stunning and glamorous men and women stretched out their hands, ready to forcefully push Sienna back into the water.

Sienna had a frosty expression in her eyes as she leaped out of the water. After that, she extended her long legs, kicking everyone in her immediate vicinity into the river.

Water splashed everywhere!

The group of people who still wanted to punish her were all dumbfounded.

This idiot… Why did it feel as though she had morphed into someone else?

Sienna's expression was one of desolation and icy contemplation as she slowly glanced at the faces of these people and asked in a deep voice, “Who are you?”

As soon as the words were spoken, she sensed that something was amiss.

This was not her voice!

Moreover, she remembered clearly that she was dead. The plan was leaked when she was on the way to perform a top-secret mission. She was ambushed by the enemy and she survived the siege, only to be injected with a neurotoxin that killed her instantly at the entrance of a narrow and dark alley.

She did not know who was the traitor who leaked the plan, even until her death.

She died unaware of the identity of the dark figure who approached her silently and took advantage of her serious injury to inject the neurotoxin into her neck!

Her thin figure swayed in the cold wind, and the agony she felt when she was drowning earlier kept coming. Everything went dark before Sienna’s eyes, and she passed out.

In the intensive care unit, which was filled with the scent of disinfectant, two nurses were eating casually while they watched the television mounted on the wall. Suddenly, the image on the television changed, and the latest update was broadcasted on the television instead.

“Sienna Lang, the young lady of the Lang family in the capital city, the female Goddess of War who inherited her father’s impressive war achievements and scored multiple victories, surrendered to the enemy last night. She admitted defeat and was executed!

“From now on, the Lang family will no longer exist in the capital city!”

“Tsk, tsk.” One of the nurses chewed the snacks in her mouth and said disdainfully, “It’s good that she’s dead. There is not a single good person in the Lang family, who surrendered to the enemy!”

The nurses patted their chests and heaved a sigh of relief. So, it turned out to be a misunderstanding…

The ward door creaked at this very moment.

Two males surrounded a woman in a wheelchair as she entered the room with them.

The nurses bowed down immediately, unlike their indifference and neglect toward Sienna. They had a respectful and flattering attitude as they said, “Miss, you’re here.”

The woman nodded, but when she turned to see Sienna sitting up in the hospital bed, a look of surprise flashed across her face. She hastily recollected herself and then worriedly enquired, "Sienna, are you okay?"

When Sienna first saw the girl, she instantly experienced a searing headache and an influx of memories that weren't her own.

It was startling how many grievances and resentments these memories had. It was overwhelming!

The deep aching feeling in Sienna's heart was accompanied by a fit of intense rage that took a long time to subdue.

Sienna recognized that she had been reincarnated as a girl with the same name as her at this same moment.

This girl was also called Sienna Lang, and she was originally the treasured daughter of the Lang family in Isonbert. All the pain originated from when Sienna was ten years old. Her father, Keegan, brought Clara Jenning, a girl who was the same age as Sienna, home.

Clara was the orphan that a close friend of Keegan left behind. It was said that this friend of his died to save him. Out of guilt, Keegan took good care of Clara and treated her as his own daughter.

Sienna sighed after going through the memories. She sighed and stroked her chest as she said, “Don’t worry, original owner. I'll take care of all the grievances and animosity you've experienced since I'm using your body. I’ll pursue justice for you, one by one.”

At this time, Clara, who had not received a response for a long time, pushed her wheelchair forward and bit her lips with an expression filled with self-reproach as she said, “Sienna, do you still blame me? In fact, I explained to Dad and our brothers yesterday that you did not push me, but they simply refuse to believe me…”

Despite Clara's earnestness, Sienna's eyes had a trace of mockery in them when she looked up.

“If we check the surveillance cameras, we can know for sure whether I shoved you or not, right?”
