Chapter 4

The principle that Sienna adhered to was that she should never be soft-hearted when she could make use of someone.

So, she did not say a word and got into the car in a natural and poise manner.

“Millenium Hotel, please.”

She sat in the back seat. She had very good manners and she was neither humble nor arrogant, without the slightest hint of embarrassment or confusion.

Harry’s smile grew wider. When he looked up, he noticed that Kai had an expression of disbelief.

“Hmm?”

He feigned a smile and asked, “You can’t even drive now?”

Kai woke up from his daydream and broke out in cold sweat.

“As directed, Master Harry.”

The luxury car began gradually moving into traffic.

However, for some reason, the road was extremely congested.

Sienna looked calm, but she was silently counting down the minutes in her heart.

She was worried that the surveillance footage that she wanted to retrieve might have already been deleted because she had been delayed for such a long time.

This surveillance footage was crucial to her. It was directly tied to whether she could prove that those executioners who pushed her into the water and held her head down to stop her from coming up to the surface were guilty of attempted murder.

Of course, it did not matter if the surveillance footage was gone.

She had a hundred ways that could be used to find evidence!

The atmosphere in the car was quiet. Sienna calmed down and smelled the faint scent of medicine floating in the air.

This fragrant medicinal scent came from the man beside her.

Sienna turned her head to glance at him and inadvertently met Harry’s scorching gaze.

He seemed to be looking at her too.

She felt that this man was being a little too brazen.

Sienna asked, “Do I know you?”

He answered without hesitation. “Harry Scott.”

Sienna was speechless.

So, what he meant was that he did not know her before, but he knew her now that he had introduced himself?

Sienna still replied politely after hesitating for a moment, “Sienna Lang.”

The man’s smile widened further when he heard her name. After that, he extended his hand toward her politely. His nails were clean and well-maintained.

Sienna also extended her hand naturally.

The two people shook hands, and their hands parted abruptly afterward.

No one noticed Harry’s firm grip on his hand before he withdrew it. It was as if he wanted to hold onto the brief warmth in his hand.

Soon, the car stopped at the entrance of the hotel.

Sienna said thank you and exited the car. Unexpectedly, Harry was also following behind her.

He was facing the early summer's scorching heat as he stood behind her. People couldn't take their eyes off of him because it appeared as though his entire body was coated in a layer of gold, making him look even more brilliant.

Before Sienna could ask, Harry explained, “We’re going in the same direction.”

Sienna raised her brows and did not say anything else.

When she entered the hotel, she did not care about Harry, who was following behind her, and went straight to the security room.

After explaining her intention, the security guard was surprisingly laid back and did not ask her any more questions. He let her in immediately and pointed to several surveillance monitoring screens and said, “Miss Lang, feel free to check.”

The meaning of ‘feel free to check’ was that nothing could be found. Someone had acted faster than her and cleared all the content of the surveillance footage.

Sienna had already guessed it, so when she retrieved the surveillance footage from last night, it was completely blank, and nothing could be found.

The security guard then let out a cry, as if he had just remembered something. He apologized and said, “I’m so sorry, Miss Lang. The surveillance system failed this morning, and the maintenance staff accidentally wiped the tapes.”

Such negligence.

Sienna said indifferently, “Is that so? What a COINCIDENCE.”

She seemed a little disappointed, but she did not have any intention to continue dwelling on it.

The security guard heaved a sigh of relief. Fortunately, this young lady was naive, and he managed to send her away with just a few words.

But what the security guard did not notice was that Sienna, who was behind the display screen, was operating quickly with both hands. She typed in a series of codes, and what she wanted appeared on the screen in just a few seconds.

Sienna took the USB flash drive that she had prepared beforehand and restored the content before she copied it.

The host could not see any traces of her hacking.

The whole process lasted less than half a minute, and she operated smoothly and silently.

Sienna took the USB flash drive, hid it in her pocket, then got up and said, “Excuse me.”

She left the security room after saying that.

But just as she reached the door, she accidentally bumped into someone.

“Ugh.” Sienna raised her head as she covered her sore nose. She saw that the person in front of her was none other than Harry, who also happened to be going this way.

“What a coincidence.” The man’s voice was attractive, enticing, and tugged at people’s heartstrings. He had an indifferent expression on his face, so people could not pick out the slightest frivolity.

Sienna glanced at him and said directly, “It's not a coincidence. I think that you were waiting for an opportunity.”

She did not believe it. It was such a big hotel, so how could it be a coincidence to bump into her again at the entrance of the security room?

Harry smiled gently as he leaned over and approached Sienna.

Sienna could smell the medicinal scent from his body even more clearly at such a close distance. It was not unpleasant; it was something special, and perhaps even refreshing.

Sienna sighed emotionally as she saw this enchanting and handsome face magnified in front of her eyes.

He was indeed a very attractive man. His pair of charming eyes were as deep as the sea, which was particularly enchanting. Any other girl would have been charmed to death by him and willingly indulged in his apparent warmth.

But she was not anyone else. She could see at a glance that behind this man’s seemingly friendly appearance was a cold and unapproachable person.

Sienna’s face was calm without a trace of turbulence.

Harry raised his brows, and there was a demonic aura on his handsome face. His smile seemed to become even more captivating.

He said, “Since you already found out that I was waiting for an opportunity, then you should also give me credit where credit is due. Where do you want to go next? I’ll drop you off on the way.”

Sienna was dumbstruck.

He was deliberately using the words ‘on the way’, which seemed to have a deeper meaning.

Sienna touched her empty pocket and paused for a second before she gave her address without hesitation. “St. Quills Mansion. Thanks.”

She must have awareness if she did not have money. She had always understood this.

Harry curled his lips and said slowly——

“It’s on the way. Let’s go.”

The both of them walked side by side.

Kai, who was left behind, was appalled!

What had Harry just said?

It was on the way?

How was it on the way? The Scott Mansion and St. Quills Mansion were obviously in opposite directions!

He thought to himself, 'Master Harry is going through so much trouble. Could it be that…

'Master Harry, who has always been pure-hearted and indifferent toward women, really has different thoughts about this mute from the Lang family? '

The more Kai thought about it, the more shocked he was. He climbed into the driver’s seat, held back his astonishment, and finally drove the car steadily before he finally stopped at the entrance of St. Quills Mansion.

This was a wealthy area, and the Lang family’s villa was located inside.

“This is me. Thank you.”

Sienna opened the car door and got down. However, before she left, she looked at Harry’s impeccably handsome face and said after some hesitation, “I suggest that you change the medicine that you usually take. The herbs that you are taking have a cooling nature, and it will only be counterproductive in your case.”

Sienna closed the car door and turned to walk away after saying that.

No one told her that Harry was ill and was taking medicine all year round. The only explanation was that she could smell the scent of the medicine floating in the car.

Kai was a little stunned. “Master Harry, Miss Lang is good at spewing nonsense. She is talking nonsense even when she does not know anything. Could it be that she thinks that she is better compared to the brilliant doctor that Lady Scott found?”

Harry’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a glimmer of light flashed in his pupils. “She's repaying a favor.”

This young lady was drawing a clear line with him.

“Huh?” Kai did not understand Harry. What was the connection between her babbling about Harry's condition and repaying favors?

When he turned around, he noticed that Harry was gazing intently in the direction of Sienna, who was in the distance.

Kai suddenly understood something, and he could not help but say, “Master Harry, do you have thoughts about Miss Lang? You might not be aware of this, but she has already entered into a marriage contract with someone! Her fiancé is Quentin, the eldest grandson of the Kane family!”

“So what?” Harry curled his lips, but the smile did not reach his eyes.

He only listened to Kai’s words and then said slowly, “It’s just a marriage contract. So what if I win her over?”
