Claire's POV

"How are you feeling, Angel?" Steven asked.

"I am fine," I said

"Are you sure because you have hardly eaten any of your food?" Stephen asked. After we left my dad's parent's house, we decided to get something to eat. I couldn't stop thinking about them saying that they wanted to get to know Jenn and me. I was still upset with them for the way they treated my mother but a part of me wanted to get to know them.

I knew that I needed to talk to Jenn about them. She deserved to know the truth about everything, including werewolves but I didn't know how she would react.

"You are thinking about Charles and Margarette aren't you?" Gwen asked

"Yes, I can't stop thinking about everything they told me. I am still mad at them for being disrespectful to my mother. At the same time, I want to get to know them. They are my father's parents and the only family Jenn and I have left. I just don't want them to disrespect Jenn for being human," I said
