Chapter 46

Claire's POV

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Stephen asked as we rode up to my dad's parent's house. Sean and Tonya had driven in another car.

"Yes, I need to do this," I said, and we got out of the car. I was nervous as we walked to the door. A woman opened the door before we made it up the steps. There was a man standing beside her that looked exactly like my father. He was just an older version. They looked at me, and a smile appeared on their face

"Hello, You must be Claire. I am Margarette, and this is Charles, and we are your grandparents," The woman said, and I just looked at them, not knowing what to say.

"Hello, Charles and Margarette. Thanks for meeting with us today," Sean said

"Of course. We have been waiting for this day for a long time. Please, come inside," Charles said, and we walked into the house. Their home was lovely. It wasn't the biggest house, but it seemed comfortable and warm. When we got to the living room, family photos were on the wall. I saw some o
