The trance

"I don't..know how..that got into..my hand" i said as he picked them up

"These letters where on my cupboard.. what the hell did you do?" he said opening them

"And they're turn!" he said and looked at me furiously..then breath out heavily.

He came inches away from me and said looking into my eyes. I could see pain and anger

"I promised i won't hurt you again..and I'll try to keep that because I'm a man of my words. But if you push me to the wall again like this? I'll give you another promise and it's not going to be a good one this time.." he said and my heart sack like never before.

I opened my mouth to speak but..nothing came out. 

He let go of my hands after some seconds of staring in eyes and left

I stood there confused, helpless.. and hurt.

The next day..he was cold. And very informal. Which is weird.

He was talking to Elsa quit alright. With me it was just business.. and nothing teasing like he used to.

Presently..he is still weird. I would have to ask Elsa..if he had any one special in his life apart from his real mom.

I went to my room..and stayed there for hours. Just looking through the window.

After sometime..someone knocked at the door. I went and opened it.

It was one of our maids with a tray of food. Actaully i didn't have dinner with them. I'm not hungry.

So..i told her I'm not hungry..she insisted saying Adrian sent her to give me. I still regected..telling her to tell Adrian i said I'm not hungry.

I said and locked the door..after some seconds, i heard a louder knock on the door. I doubted it was the maid but i didn't respond nor get up of my bed.

Immediatly..the door opened widely. 

What the hell! That person can't even respect privasy. I sigh heavily and turned around..

Adrian..what does he want? I asked myself as i saw him coming closer with that same tray of food the maid brought

I sat upright..as he said

"Why the hell aren't you eating?" he asked coldly

I was about answering when he said

"And don't you dare..answer me with a question!" he said and i gulp

"I'm not hungry." i said plainly

"You didn't eat lunch and now dinner! And you're here telling me you're not hungry..do you expect me to believe?" he said

"No i don't. I don't.. expect you to believe anything i say!" i exclaimed. 

He furrowed his brows and placed the tray of food on sideboard of the bed

He sigh and said

"That's you're food. I want you to take that tray of food and start eating..right now. I'll be sitting on the couch over there watching until you're done." he said

And i hissed, layed back down with my back facing him.

Before i could realise..he carried me and left me to fall on the ground.

I hit myself so bad..with my back again!

I groan in pain.. as he bend down and said to me

"I'm not gonna repeat myself..now eat" he said

I looked up to him in disbelieve and said loudly with a shaken voice

"What part of it don't you understand..I'm not hungry?" 

He closed his eyes impatiently and when he opened it..they were fire.

Oh my god! I stood up regardless of the fact that i had back pain and sat upright.

He said again..as his voice change. It was more deep

"I said eat NOW!"

I gulped, went closer to him.. touched his jaws with my hands and looked into his eyes.

I don't know what i was doing.. but some kind of force drew me towards him

As i looked in his eyes i went in a trance..

In that trance..i saw the girl i saw in the picture on his bed. 

She and Adrian were talking and surdenly, she placed her hands on his side cheek and Adrian drew her close with his hands on her waist and kissed her passionately.

After which i saw her writting letters..and tears droping from her eyes.

She took a gift Adrian gave her and placed on his work desk..and left afterwards

Adrian came home and found that letter on his desk with the gift he gave her. When he read the letter completely 

With anger he threw his computer and the jar on his desk on the floor. He ran his hands over his hair in fustration. 

I felt his pain..so bad. That i started crying in reality. I couldn't breath well. The pain flowing was making me breathless.

I started breathing hard..as tears flowed down my eyes.

I placed my right hand on the left side of his chest and felt his heart beat..it was so fast.

When i came back to conciouseness..i gasp 'cause i was short of breath and almost fell back when Adrian held me towards him..

"Billie..Billie.." he said nervously

My lungs were getting tide as i was struggling to breath.

He layed me down gently, parted his lips and brought it close to mine..touching mine slightly, he breath out into my mouth. 

And i fell something loosening my lungs..moving allover my body. And to my spine..

I gasp when i feel something electric passed to spine..

I opened my eyes completely..since it was slightly open then.

I saw him so close to me..his lips slightly touching mine.

When he saw my recovery..he breath out a sigh of relief.

"How could you come towards me in this state..what were you thinking!?" he said nervously

I was still weak as he gave me a soft gaze and wiped the tears on my cheek with his tumb.

"Why didn't you tell me..about her?" i asked

"We're not going to talk about that right now, are we?" He said and i shook my head

"Why do you keep pushing me to the wall so hard..? Why?" he asked with so many emotions in his eyes

"Because it's then you're going to reveal the beast in you.. and it needs to be dealt with." i said and he looked at me amazed and speechless

"Who are you..Billie?" He asked in a wisper

"I should be asking you that question..Adrian?" i responded in thesame tone

He lifted me up in his embrase and layed me in bed..still not removing his eyes from mine.

He help me sit up against the head bed..and sat beside me.

He gave me a knowing look..it wasn't hash nor authoritative like before.

I nodded and he brought the tray of food closer to me and said

"I'll feed you.." i blinked severally

"No..I'll do it" i said 

"Don't insist..talk bird..let me feed you" he insisted.

I smiled when he called me talk bird..i don't know why. 

I always get mad when he calls me that..but here i am smiling like I've been hypnotised

He started feeding me when Elsa and Ashley came in.

Actually..i called Ashley earlier to come over and stay with me for some days..since she was on break too

I didn't know she'll come this night.. she didn't tell me.

When they saw us..Ashley was shocked but Elsa looked displeased.

Adrian didn't stop..as he pretended as if they weren't there.

Now..what are we going to tell them..about why he's feeding me!?

I looked at Adrian and he shook his head..
