Antonio listened intently. “She needs a new pair of lungs to save her life.” I nodded, tears welling up in my eyes. “What is so hard about that? I will kill someone and steal their lungs for her,” Antonio declared, his tone firm and resolute.

I shook my head, horrified by his suggestion. “No, Antonio, we can’t do that,” I said firmly. “Even I thought of that, but Kiera would rather die than have someone else’s life taken for her own survival.” Antonio looked at me, his eyes filled with determination.

“Your wife seems to be interesting and strong-willed. I will find another way to help her,” he said, his voice softer now. “I have found one, but...”
