Pillow

Vale never sleeps more contently than this one.

This pillow is giving her the warmth that she never had before. She just wanted to snuggle and continue to sleep with its warmness.

That was until she heard something.

Thump... Thump... Thump...

What was that?

She furrowed his eyebrows and listened again.

Thump... Thump... Thump...

Vale opened her eyes, and the sight of a chiselled chest greeted her and made her sat up as quickly as she can.

She instinctively put her hand on her head and closed her eyes, feeling the dizziness kicking her head. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes, squinting at the fine body that lay in front of her on her bed.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Her heartbeat increased, seeing him lay in front of her. 

Shirtless!

Vale blinked her eyes a few times and pinched her cheeks hard. She hissed at the pain and she realized that this is not a dream. 

It’s real!

Her breath hitched. 

How the hell did he manage to come in here?! 

She wanted to scream, but she immediately bit her lips to keep it in. 

Her robots might shoot him dead if she did.

Vale's eyes ran greedily on his exposed upper body as she gulped. She was relieved that her blanket still covered his lower-half. 

She noticed a bruise forming on his upper body, but most of the bruises and cuts formed on his face.

His lips were busted. 

Hmm... Must be from the guys. 

She ran her eyes shamelessly on his face and frowned when she saw his eyebrows furrowed. She wanted to reach out and put his eyebrows back into its supposed place.

Vale shakes her head and got out of bed and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

To be honest, she actually wanted to give him a wake-up gift with her fist but decided against it. 

The thought of him searching for her almost melted her heart.

He didn’t wake Vale up to punish her and instead dared to sleep beside her. 

A sign that he was ready for her to lashed out at him for once instead of the opposite. 

He takes the beating from the guys for lying to her shows that he regretted what he did.

Vale looked at the mirror, and her eyes widen when she saw something glistening on her chin. She took a closer look at her face on the mirror and gasped.

It was drool! She never drooled after she woke up!

'Don’t tell me I drooled while looking at Keith’s body?'

Vale wiped her mouth with her hand as her face went red. 

'This is so embarrassing. Thank God, Keith is still asleep. I swear, I will not eye-raped his body anymore!'

Removing her clothes, Vale closed her eyes and sighed when the water pours onto her body.

Her thoughts were all jumbled up.

'Should I forgive him for lying to me?'

After a few minutes, Vale stepped out from the shower and dried herself using a towel from the cabinet in her bathroom. She walked out with the towel wrapped tightly around her body.

Keith is still sleeping. 

She walked to another room, which is her closet. She put her clothes on and stepped out of the room.

Keith was nowhere in sight and Vale panicked slightly. 

She breathed a sigh of relief when she heard a shower being turned on. It seems like she had to lend him her brother's clothes that she kept here.

Vale sneaked some of their clothes into her luggage when she was about to move in here. Just in case she missed them. 

Vale sighed, looking at the clothes in her hand. 

God, she missed them.

She makes up the bed before putting her brother’s clothes on the bed and silently walk downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and saw Max, her robot worker, walking towards her.

Vale quickly typed on its tab to notify it and the others that she had a guest. 

She doesn’t want Keith to be shoot with a laser. 

At least, not yet.
