Lazy Ass

All of them laugh loudly after Keith stormed into his bedroom. After a few minutes, their laugh finally dropped. The guys went to their room, and Vale went to hers. She went to shower before sleeping.

Vale woke up the next day when her phone rang. The screen on her phone states 4:35 a.m.

“It’s freaking 4 in the morning, woman!” she grumbled at Nancy after picking up the call.

“Jeez, calm down, lazy ass.” Nancy scoffed, annoyed at her.

“Shut it! What do you want?” Vale asked.

“Woman, how did you build that freaking castle of yours? I envy you so much!” she shouted, making Vale perks up.

“Nancy, shut up! I asked you for a favour. Keep this a secret, okay?” she whisper-yelled at her.

“Okay, fine. How about a sleepover there for the next Friday night?”

“Don’t know yet. I might have works to do.”

“Oh, shut it! If he doesn’t let you go, tell him you’ll never cuddle with him anymore.”

Vale blushed at this. 

Did she...know?

“Fine, but I can’t confirm it yet, though.”

“Yes, you will!” she says enthusiastically.

“We’ll see.” Vale got up and ended the call.

She went to the bathroom and do her usual business. After that, she changed into a white crop top and black pants. 

She put her brunette wavy hair into a bun and wore her black boot. 

Vale went to the basement and trained for one hour. After that, she went back to her room and shower.

Then, she grabbed a grey jumper and short black pants. She walks out of her room towards the kitchen and started cooking.

Vale finished her cooking, but it seems like the guys haven't woke up yet. 

Being a lazy ass she is Vale walk towards the staircase and stopped a few meters away from it before she screamed.

Guess what?

All of them run downstairs with their gun, and the guard runs into the house. They run wildly, searching for what made her scream. 

Vale just stood in the centre of the house, grinning from ear to ear with her hands on her back.

After a few minutes of them running here and there, they walk towards her with sweat covering their shirtless body.

“Good morning, guys! Did you have a good sleep?” she mocked them.

“Shit! Vale, what do you think you’re doing?!” Keith glared at her.

“Umm... Waking you guys up?” she smiled innocently at them.

They all groaned before murmuring something like,

“I almost shoot him and... ”

“Damn it! One more inch and I’ll hold my rewards... ”

“Urgh! I was a few meters before I reach the finals line... ”

“I almost saw her face... ”

“I almost kiss Nancy... ”

Vale's eyes went wide when she heard the last person's words.

They watched Caleb rubbing his temple. He looks up at the sudden silence and looks at them in confusion before his face went red.

“Wow... Man, that’s new.” Jake teased him.

“Shut up!” he cried out in embarrassment before storming upstairs but not before turning back to them and said in a whisper-yelled tone.

“Don’t tell her!”

They burst out laughing before they guys went back upstairs and Vale walks back into the kitchen to arrange the breakfast on the table in the dining room. 

Yeah, table. Not countertop anymore. Vale felt like she wants to use the dining room today.

She took out her phone and saw a text from her mom.

‘Sweetie, where are you? I’ve been waiting for a visit from you and Kayden.’

Vale swallowed back the lump in her throat. 

She knew what her mom means by the words visit. She wanted to know about their marriage date. 

Vale closed her eyes and leaned back on the chair.

“Boo!”

Vale jumped to the side and looked at the person behind her with a startled look. Jake grin sheepishly as he took a seat beside her. 

Vale rolled her eyes at him, “Hey, Jake.”

“Yeah?” he looked at her, raising an eyebrow.

“Do you mind going out with me for a while after this?”

He looked down for a second, “Sure.“ he shrugged.

Vale did a little victory dance on her mind.

“Where are you going?”

Keith suddenly appeared on the door, followed by the others.
