Like A Magnet

They had been watching Tv for hours when suddenly she felt his warm lips on her forehead.

Vale looked up at him and smile. He smiled back at her.

A genuine one.

How should she explain this relationship that they have?

They felt it, but both of them doesn’t want to admit it.

Not yet.

Every time they run, they came back to each other like a magnet. The attraction was unbreakable.

They ignored and deny it every time someone asked if they liked each other.

But they can’t help it when they are alone. Their heart yearns for each other.

When Kayden and Vale were still together, keeping their distance is a little easy.

She still can control her desire to jump on him.

It sounds like she's cheating on her boyfriend. Yeah?

They pull a fight, cursed, accused, and did anything that could hurt both of them. They were trying to make the other to hate the other party, to keep them away from each other.

But, since she got over Kayden, they grow close much to her dislike.

Living in the same roof is not helping.

Why?

She felt dirty of herself.

She had just gotten over her boyfriend. Now, she's in another man’s arm and that too, without a label.

She hated herself for that.

She can’t help but feel bad.

But then, Kayden had found another woman.

No. Not any woman.

But, he already had his fiance behind her back.

She felt like a fool, not knowing this. She had loved that asshole with all her might. Yet, he already had someone to complete his life with.

“Princess,” Keith called her, taking her off of her thoughts.

“Hmm?”

“I’m sorry,”

“It’s okay. I think I overreacted. It was the irony, after all. I hated liars despite me being a liar myself,”

It was true, though.

Vale hated liars, and she lied to her parents and friends about her being in a gang and that she had been killing people.

The guilt of lying was just too much to bear. Maybe, that’s why she hated liars. She doesn’t want them to feel the same guilt that she felt. If they even felt it.

“You’re a bit distracted that day. You know I care for you just like the other guys. I can’t send you into a mission in that state you’re in. I’m-uh- the guys are afraid they’ll lose you,”

Vale rolled her eyes. Noticing that he almost slipped up that he’s afraid he’ll lose her.

“I understand,” she smiled at him.

“Will you...come back..home?”

Vale sighed, “This is my home, Keith.” she looked down at the floor.

“I know...then, will you come back to my house, our gang house, for me, please?” he raised her chin to look at him.

The others must have gone mad at him for making her leave. They’ll not hesitate to make him suffer more if Vale didn’t come back. As much as she liked the idea of him suffering a bit, she missed the guys.

“In one condition.”

He raised an eyebrow.

“Promise me that you won’t tell anyone about this house,”

“I promise. But, I don’t know if Nancy will,”

Vale perks up at her name.

Dang!

Nancy must have followed her yesterday.

“Tell her not to tell anyone,” she narrowed her eyes at him.

“But-” she cut him off by standing up and sat on the other couch and folded her arms across her chest.

“Fine.” he grabs his phone and starts dialling.

“Hey, Nancy. Have you told anyone about Vale’s new address?”

“No? Good.” he ended the call.

“Satisfied?” he asked her.

“Hmm...”

Vale focused her attention on the Tv while leaning back onto the couch.

“I have until midnight to bring you back,” he stated.

“Okay.”

She was greeted by silence.

Vale turned towards him and burst out laughing when she saw him blush.

His eyes were saying something that she indeed knows. It shows hesitation too.

“I-I just-urgh! ” he ran his finger on his hair.

“What?” she smirked at him.

He narrowed his eyes, “You know exactly what I want. Now, come over here or...”

“Or what?” she asked, shifting her attention back on the Tv.

She was caught off guard when he pushed her flat on the couch.

“What the-”

She was about to sit back up and shout at him when he hovers over her, pinning her wrist over her head.

“Keith-”

Once again, he managed to shut her up when he slammed his lips on hers passionately. Vale refused when he asked for an entrance as she struggles helplessly beneath him.

His free hand moved under her shirt, making her released a moan. He took that chance to run his tongue into her mouth and started exploring every corner of her mouth.

He realized that she was not responding to his kiss and slowly let go of her wrist as well as making a move to get up with a look of hurt.

He was about to leave when Vale stood up and pushed him back on the couch before straddling him.

Without waiting for him to respond, she caught his lips between her own and slipped her hand on his hair. Soon enough, he recovered from the shock and immediately wrapped his arm around her as he deepened the kiss.

They pulled away breathless as their forehead rested on each other.

“Cuddle with me?” he asked after a few moments.

“No,” she said, wanting to tease him for being such a cuddler.

A gang leader who cuddles. That will be the most unbelievable story ever.

He narrowed his eyes at her before he smirked, “You know, princess-”

“No, I don’t.” Vale cut him off innocently as her fingers play unconsciously on his hair.

“Don’t cut me off,” he said in a gritted teeth.

“Fine.” I huffed.

“My mother wants a grandchildren,” he said calmly.

“Okay,” Vale shrugged her shoulders as she looked at his messy hair.

“Are you sure?” he asked her in surprise.

It took Vale's several seconds later to register what he said about his mother in her brain.

Her eyes went wide as her face turns pale, and her body stilled. She gulped and slowly looked down to meet his darkened eyes.

Her heart is beating rapidly, thinking of a baby.

Keith and her baby. She's too young to be a mother, and she's not prepared.

Plus, this is the first time she actually got to think about having a baby.

They aren’t even married!

“Uh..a-a..ch-child...uhm..I..no...” she stuttered.

He watched her reactions in amusement.

“Then, cuddle with me,” he ordered.

Vale hesitated. Something below her is not helping either.

“I...”

“It’s either you cuddle with me or...” he trailed off in a mischievous smirk.

Vale was still thinking of what to decide when Keith’s hand move to lift her top.

“F-fine! I’ll cuddle with you!” she squeaked in panic.

He stopped his movements and looked at her with victory dancing on his eyes.

This is the second time he actually dared to cuddle with her.

The guys found them on the couch, and she said that he forced her to cuddle with him. She was way too embarrassed to say that they agree on the idea.

Thank god the couch is big enough for them to lay down next to each other.

She turned the Tv off and put the first aid kit on the table before she lay beside him.

He wrapped his arm around her waist. She put his head on his chest before closing her eyes. Soon enough, they drifted asleep.

Way to call them no label at all.
