Madam Maya made a quiet astonished face, with tears remaining in the corners of her eyes. She looks like a victim of unfair accusations. After gazing at Rohan and then towards me, she explained,

“That's not what I'm saying, Lady Sashal. I'm sure I said it would be hard to do now, not forbidding you from carrying out the mating ceremony."

She explained pretty passionately several times with similar sentences until Rohan stopped her. She even gasps for breath after expressing all her thoughts in words.

A sigh of relief came out of my mouth, and then I looked at Madam Maya, feeling guilty. “It seems I was too sensitive when I heard it. I apologize for my misunderstanding, Madam Maya.”
