“What… are you talking about?” Rohan asked with a knitted brow, concern laced in his voice. He turned around, looking at his mother. "Mother, what is she talking about?"

An audible exhale escaped my lips upon seeing the expressions of Rohan and Madam Maya. Madam Maya's lips trembled under her son's questioning gaze.

With a heavy heart, I answered Rohan's question instead. “Remember the case when I was kidnapped for four months? It looks like Madam Maya is involved in it. No, she's definitely involved or even the main perpetrator."

Noting Rohan's shock daze, I grabbed his hand to hold. Seeing him in shock and pain crushed my heart. I'm not that kindhearted about putting this issue aside because I'm worried about Rohan's feelings. I have promised myself that the main priority in my life this time is myself, then my baby.
