A strong gust of wind carrying the salty aroma of the ocean slapped him all over his face. Rohan grinned wryly as he felt unwelcome by the ocean and its waves, but still, he insisted on standing on the rocks, getting hit by small waves that crept up on his feet. “Tch, what are you doing there?” Alpha Jabre jumped over rock after rock, approaching Rohan.

“You're here?”

“This is my territory, kiddo. I should be the one to say that.”

“Haha… right.”

Alpha Jabre drew his eyebrows upwards as he glanced at Rohan. He scoffs. "So, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling melancholy because you get scolded by those guys? But you realize that you deserve it all, right? The presence of those ships is because of your failure in Southern Olf.”

Rohan tasted his mouth, which tasted bitter, then replied lazily.

“That's why I'm here. I put myself at the front of the line in case they charge at us.” Rohan took a deep breath as he looked into the distance.
