Chapter 5

Solaria's POV

Saturday ngayon and I was peacefully doing my school works in my room, minutes later I heard a knock on the door and I just loudly told the person to come in. I want to finish my 5 school works that was due on next week, so I don't have to cram when the deadline arrives. I was very focused when I felt that someone hugged me from behind.

"You're so busy, those projects aren't due until next week." Zach said and kisses my shoulder. I chuckled and caressed his hand that was resting in my tummy.

"I need to work on these, so I don't have to cram. Besides I have to do it anyways," I calmly explained. " You need something?" I asked habang pinagpatuloy ko ang aking ginagawa.

"Well, I just want you to know that I might not be around for a week." I looked at him confuse as soon as I heard that.

"Why? Did something happened?" I curiously asked.

"I just need to work on something important, my family needs me for a while. But I'll be back, I won't take long." I pouted at him at malungkot na ipinagpatuloy yung ginagawa ko. "Hey, I'll be back okay? I'll update you everyday, I just had to do this." I looked at him and sighed.

"A week. If you won't be back after a week, kapag di ka bumalik sasabihin ko si daddy na bawasan yung sweldo mo." He laughed and pinched my cheek and kissed it.

"That's harsh, nag hahanap buhay yung tao. You're being so bossy again." He amusingly said.

"I'll miss you," I said while pouting. "Hope you are going to bring me some pasalubong." I jokingly said.

"Sure." I was shocked on his response. I panicked and told him I was joking, he just smiled and acted like he didn't heard me. I kept on telling him na I was just joking, and he just laughed at me while saying he will be keeping the pasalubong in mind.

That went on when suddenly someone knocked on the door. We both went silent and fixed ourselves before I gave the person the permission to come in.

"Hey, sunshine! I was wondering if I could stick around for a while, or maybe you wanted to hangout for a while?" Cooper happily said. I looked at Zach and I can see that his face got tensed. Mukhang nagseselos ang aking mahal na bodyguard.

"I was doing school work kasi, I already finished 2 out of 5 school works I had." Cooper got amazed and even looked at my desk. He mouthed 'wow' and laughed a bit, nilapitan niya ako at tinignan yung mga gawa ko.

"That's a lot of work, you should not overwork yourself." He said while checking my work. I told him that I'll be fine, nag paalam nalang siya at sinabi niya sa susunod nalang. I agreed to him at umalis na din siya.

"He's so clingy." Masungit na ani ni Zach. Tinignan ko siya at nakikita ko na masama talaga yung timpla ng mukha niya at medyo namumula.

"Are you jelous?" I teasingly said.

"So what if I am? Are you going to do something about it?" I was shocked and caught off guard about it. Grabe napaka straight-forward niya din ano? I laughed and pinched his cheeks, ang cute kasi ng inakto niya.

I kept on teasing him and nakikita kong napipikon siya sa ginagawa ko. At nung hindi ako tumigil ay hinalikan niya ako ng mariin sa labi. The kiss was also deep, but I could feel the restraint. I kissed him back, and after a few minutes of kissing ay huminto kami at pareho kaming nag hahabol ng hininga dahil dun.

"Hindi lang yan yung aabotin mo kapag di ka pa huminto." He huskily warned me. Napalunok ako, cause I can see in his eyes that he was being serious about it.

"I'm sorry, I was just teasing you. You need to chill, man." I chuckled nervously and he just smirked.

"If that's how you are going to tease me, then I might not be able to resist. I'll eventually give in immediately." After he said that he kissed and sucked my neck, and that made me moaned softly.

"Ahhmmm... Okay, I won't do it again." I softly said. He looked at me and smirked.

"I left a mark. And that will remind you that I'm all yours, baby." He said and winked at me and left the room leaving me in shock. Oh no! Dali dali ko tinignan ang sarili ko sa salamin at nakita ko ang resibo ng pagiging malandi ko. Shit! Nag iwan ng talaga siya ng marka!

Dali-dali ako humanap ng concealer at nilagyan ang hickey na binigay sa akin ni Zach. Malalagot talaga sa akin yung taong yun. After an hour bumaba na ako para kumain ng dinner. Kasama ko si dad sa table, while eating he brought up the agreement that he made together with Cooper's family.

"Anak, I know that you might have already knew this. But you and Cooper are going to get married, you guys are the perfect match." Nakangiting sabi ni dad.

"Don't you think it's quite unfair sa part ko, na maikasal sa taong hindi ko naman mahal? And besides, why would you guys have that such agreement?" I said in disbelief.

"It's also good for the business, and may tiwala rin ako kay Cooper. He can take care of you just in case I'm gone. Kaya ka niyang buhayin." I laughed sarcastically at his words.

"Are you saying na yan lang yung magiging role ko? Yung buhayin lang ako ng asawa ko while acting I was a fucking good wife?" My dad looked at me in disbelief.

"Young lady, watch your words. Nasa hapag tayo, and why are you even saying that? Ayaw mo ba yun? You don't have to work and you will have a good life as his wife?" Umiling lang ako at pinunasan ang aking bibig at tumayo na.

"I can't believe you. Akyat na po ako." And with that I left the table feeling angry with dad. Tinawag niya ako pero hindi ako nakinig. I can survive on my own and I can do that. I can be rich with or without a husband. I was still fuming in anger while preparing myself to sleep, and when I finished I crawled into my bed and went to sleep.

I don't want to be his wife not because I want to prove that I can survive on my own. But, because I don't love him. I love Zachary Ace and not Cooper. So I need to work harder, para maipaglaban yung pinaglalaban ko.
