Chapter 3

Solaria's POV

I have class for the whole day, so nasa school na naman ako listening to my prof. BS Business Administration yung course ko, and ito yung kinuha ko since I'm the only heiress of my dear dad's business. When we heard the bell the professor already dismissed us, lumabas na ako ng classroom para pumunta ng cafeteria. I need to eat sobrang gutom ko na!

Pag kalabas ko ng building nakita ko naman si Zach dumiretso naman ako ng lakad, sumunod lang din naman siya ang kaso siya lang mag isa ngayon. Wala yung ibang guards, confident naman si daddy na kaya akong protektahan ni Zach, so wala siyang problema don.

"Hey, sunshine!" Bati ni Cooper sa akin at inakbayan ako. Ngumiti naman ako sa kanya at bumati din sa kanya. "Kamusta naman yung class mo?" He asked.

"Ayun, okay lang. Eh, how about you? I'm sure nahihirapan ka na sa engineering course mo." Natatawang saad ko. Yes, engneering siya. Matalino naman to sa math so I see no problem with it, and also it was his dream course din kaya hindi talaga siya mahihirapan.

"Hindi naman, basic nga eh," nagtawanan kami dahil sobrang over confident niya. "Kidding, okay lang din naman, kaya ko naman yun." Nakangiting saad niya. Nakakamatay yung ngiti niya at sobrang ganda din ng aura niya. Di na ako magtataka kung pinagtitinginan kami ngayon.

Nakarating nalang kami ng cafeteria, ganun pa rin ang sitwasyon. Pero may naririnig akong mga bulongan, laman naman ng bulongan na yun ay puro inggit.

"Omg! Ang gagwapo ng kasama ni Laria!" Kinikilig na sambit ng isang istudyante. Sino ba naman hindi kikiligin, kung dalawang tao na parang god's gift to women ang makikita mo dito?

Inilagay ko ang mga gamit ko sa table. Magkatabi kami ni Cooper habang nasa kabila naman si Zach, pero hindi muna sila umupo.

"Young lady, ano po yung gusto mong kainin ngayon?" tanong bigla ni Zach.

Magsasalita na sana ako ng inunahan na ako ni Cooper. "May steak ngayon sa menu, I'm sure gusto niya yung kainin, right sunshine?" Cooper said happily.

"I didn't ask you." Malamig na sambit ni Zach.

"Zachary." tinignan ako ni Zach at alam kong nakikita niya ang warning look ko. Yumuko siya at humingi ng paumanhin. "Cooper's right. I want steak, at ikaw bahala sa kung ano man ang gusto mong orderin. Kunin mo nalang din ang order ni Cooper, so that he won't go fall in line." pagka-utos ko nun ay umupo na ako. Binigay naman din ni Cooper ang order niya at umalis na din si Zach.

"I'm sorry about guards behavior. Hindi ata siya sanay that there's 3 of us now." I smiled at him apologetically.

"It's okay, I might have made him feel uncomfortable." he smiled. He is so understanding, habang hinihintay namin ang pagkain ay nag usap muna kami about sa mga buhay namin.

When Zach arrived, kumain na kami. Tahimik lang si Zach, habang kami ni Cooper ay nag-uusap habang kumakain. Pero may sinabi si Cooper that made the atmosphere change.

"Nga pala, there is also a reason why I came back," I looked at him curiously. "Our parents kinda discussed about OUR wedding." tinitignan niya ako na parang tinatansya niya kung itutuloy yung sasabihin niya. "Believe me, I tried to tell them na huwag tayong madaliin. Cause like hindi nga tayo in relationship, tapos ikakasal pa tayo. We're best friends." Uminom ako ng tubig bago ako sumagot sa kanya.

"Dad told me about that, and I also tried to talk him about it. I'm actually cool about us getting married and I know you for years, so I don't see any rea----"

"I like you, but I don't want an arrange marriage," he cut me off. I looked at him shocked. Alam kong natigilan rin si Zach, kasi ramdam kong nakatingin siya sa aming dalawa. Pero di siya umimik. "I want our relationship to be built with love and not some kind of an arrangement. It just felt so wrong," he held my hand and looked deeply into my eyes. I can freaking sense the sincerity in his eyes. "That's is why habang maaga pa, I'm going to ask you this. Can I court you?" I'm speechless. Hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin, nagulat nalang kaming dalawa nung biglang padabog tumayo si Zach at naglakad palabas.

"Will you hold that thought?" Hindi ko na inantay makasagot pa si Cooper at umalis na rin ako dala ang mga gamit ko. Hinabol ko si Zach, lakad-takbo ang ginawa ko kasi sobrang bilis niya mag lakad. Tinatawag ko rin siya pero hindi niya ako pinapansin. Nung nahabol ko na siya ay hinarangan ko siya habang habol yung hininga ko

"What the heck was wrong with you?! Ang bilis mo maglakad! Why did you leave?" I was still catching my breath while asking him that.

"Iniwan mo yung soon to be husband mo, you should go back." He coldly said. What is his problem?

"Well you did not answer my question. I asked you, didn't I? So you should answer me." I demanded.

"Okay fine. But don't be shocked on how straight-forward I am," I was confused by his actions. "Why should I just stay there and watch him confess to you? So I can hurt myself? Fuck, I'm not going to hurt myself." Wait, what? Did he just admit that he also has feelings for me? This bodyguard of mine is in love with me.

Before I could say something the bell rang, which means that I need to get back to class.

"Just leave, you need to go to class." He calmly said and left me there dumbfounded. Wow. Just wow. Two people confessed to me at the same day and same place. That was too much to process.

I just went to class, and I am trying to understand the discussion but I can't focus. So after my last subject of the day, I just went out on the classroom. I was finding Zach but he's nowhere to be found, and I was also shocked that there are guards in there. I thought they're not available? I approached one of the guards.

"Where is Zach? I thought you guys are unavailable today?" I asked curiously.

"Sir Zach went home early, he asked us to picked you up and bring you home." He explained.

"But you're with my dad. How is that even possible?"

"He only ordered two of us to pick you up young lady. And as for you dad, Zach explained that he needed to do something urgent so he went home, and your dad understood it too." I sighed and told them na aalis na kami. On my ride home, I called Cooper and said sorry about what happened earlier. I also told him I can't decide immediately about his proposal, he said it was fine and will give me some time to think it over. After that conversation, I asked the guards to drive me at Zach's place. They immediately obliged, when I got there I told them to go home, at diretso akong pumunta ng elevator at pinundot ang top floor ng building.

Nakatira siya sa isang condominium building, na nagkataong pagmamay-ari namin. I need answers for his behavior, and I won't go home until I got some answers. When I reached the top floor, dumiretso agad ako sa condo unit niya. Ginamit ko ang black card ko para pumasok sa condo unit, as soon as I opened it dumiretso ako ng pasok. Bago pa ako makasambit sa pangalan niya, someone slammed the door shut and pinned me against it.

"Who are you?!" I looked at the person who did that and I saw Zach. "Solaria? What the hell are you doing here?" He wasn't wearing anything on his upper part of the body, Solaria huwag kang titingin sa baba. He let go of me and sighed.

"I was wondering why you didn't wait for me to finish my day. That's why I came here." He gently touched my arms looking at me concerned.

"Did I hurt you?" He asked and I shook my head. "Please, don't do it again. Or else..."

"Or else what?" I asked boldly.

"Or else I won't control myself, and just give in on my feelings for you."
