Natalie

Natalie had spotted Kim and Theo and she wanted to keep her distance. It was a relief that Kim had not come pounding on her door. But then it would have meant that she considered Natalie her adversary, which she wasn’t and didn’t want Kim to believe as much.

She kept to her corner. Benjie and Malcolm were happy and when they arrived on the floor for their first dance as a wedding couple, Natalie couldn’t stop her tears. There was a couple in front of her who had fought all odds to marry each other, and there is her, who has no one other than a guy who is engaged to marry someone else. Not that she wanted Theo for herself, but this wedding was making her cry more than making her happy.

She saw Kim and Theo dancing after a while and wanted to run away, not because she was jealous, but due to the fact that the guilt lay heavily on her conscience.

Benjie asked her to dance and she had to oblige him. They were dancing and didn’t realize that they had reached near Kim and Theo.
