Chapter 31

Theodore

Kim must be stunned, Theodore thought as he hung up the phone after inviting Kim for dinner at his place.

He had tried to drown himself in work for the past week and so, and everytime he tried to discover in his heart what he wanted, the answer was always the same. It both terrified and excited Theodore. He was throwing his image away.

Until now, he was the youngest, responsible, sensible, hard-working son of his father. This marriage was going to put him on the same pedestal as Jonathan, but now, he was not sure what he wanted to do.

Theodore knew nothing about cooking. He had a housekeeper who took care of everything. So, when he was putting the dish on table and Kim walked in on that scene, witnessing him in an apron must have given her a wrong idea.

“Did you cook for me?” She was smiling and Theo was feeling like a jerk for what was about to come.

“Nope. You know I can’t do that. I just heated up the food.”

“Oh, where is Olga?”

“I gave her night off.” Theo removed
