Natalie

Natalie’s plan had succeeded. Theo had been jealous. Now that she had broken the term of the contract, he will free her. She should feel victorious, right? He was here.

But Natalie was terrified. Because she would do anything to not be in the presence of the man who stood in front of her in that moment. His hair was unruly. His jaw was set, his eyes were spitting fire, and his fists were clenched. He had shooed away Ethan with his glare, and now it was her turn.

“Theo….” She wanted to sound strong, but it came out more like a squeal.

“I am not sure what I am going to do.” He confessed as he took a step towards her. His Adam’s apple was bobbing up and down, and by now, Natalie had learned his expressions. He was either nervous or angry, but considering the circumstances, the chances of him being angry were far more up on the scale when weighed against being nervous.

“Shhhhhh……..” He placed a finger on his lips and closed his eyes. She stood there waiting for him to say som
