CHAPTER SEVENTY TWO

ALPHA DEREK'S POV

"Lisa?" I called unbelievably. "It has been you all along? How come I was so foolish not to have thought about that ?" I asked.

The memory came afresh in my head, the same thing I have been trying so hard to remember and couldn't. On that fateful day, Sally was first attacked, I had crossed parts with Lisa and had noticed the unusual scar on her neck. I wanted to ask her what injured her, but I decided to let it go because I was too busy thinking about how to save Sally to want to draw any distractions to myself.

I turned around and unmasked the other woman who lay lifeless on the floor. I was not too shocked to realize it was Lisa's younger sister.

I brought out my phone from my pocket and dialed the security number. I also called on the hospital to come over and pick up the woman for treatment. I would deal with Lisa and her sister later, although I wouldn't promise them death.
