SALLY'S POV "Someone's life is in great danger, and if we do nothing to help it would only escalate. Please we need your help to help him", I pleaded. "What do I stand to gain?" She asked and I felt a glimpse of hope. I saw excited and a smile quickly formed on my face as I wiped my tears off. "We are ready to give anything, anything you want", I said and Sarah nodded in agreement. "Give? Did I ever say I want your material things or money?" She asked angrily and I got scared that I have offended her. "I am so sorry ma, I am sincerely sorry if I have offended you with my words", I apologized to her. "We are ready to do anything, whatever you want us to do", I said and she burst out in a roar of laughter. Sarah and I exchanged glances. We both wondered what was so funny that made her laugh in such a loud and weird manner. "Did I say anything wrong?" I asked her. "You both do not have anything to offer to me", she said looking at us as if she could see through us. 'What made yo
SALLY'S POV "Sarah", I called in a low tone as I walked over to her, where she sat on the stool. I placed my hand on her shoulder and raised her head to face me so I would look directly into her eyes while I spoke to her. "You can do this, you can do it. Just try to settle your mind down, concentrate on it, and don't think about anything else including the pain you'd feel during the course. I believe in you Sarah, I know you can do this", I said to her. "I am so sorry that I failed twice ", she apologized sadly. "Everyone gets to a point where they would fall and then rise. You can always get back on your feet. The fact that you tried and failed, doesn't mean you would keep failing every single time you try", I advised her and she nodded. "Now take in a deep breath", I urged her and she did. "Breath out", I said and again she followed. "Repeat the process ", I instructed and she did without any hesitation. "Good! Now you can try the spell once again", I said to her and she smil
SALLY'S POV Sarah and I returned to the pack house since the witch didn't want to elaborate on what she meant by the last statement she had made. We met Alpha Derek in good condition and asked the warrior girl Ama and the guard to give us some privacy while we spent some time alone with the alpha. Sarah sat beside him, held his hands up in hers, and began saying the incarnations. After more than twenty minutes of incarnations and enchantments, Sarah jerked up to her feet and was looking tensed. "What happened to you?" I asked her. "I am good, I felt that electric shock run down my spine once again", she replied. Alpha Derek coughed and the both of us turned to look at him, and then we turned around and exchanged glances before rushing to sit beside Alpha Derek's bed. "He is awake!" I exclaimed excitedly and he sat up on the bed even without my help just like he would need my help before. "What are you two doing here?" Alpha Derek asked as he stood up and walked down from the be
ALPHA DEREK'S POV I woke up earlier than usual and began my daily routine, of which bathing was the very first and brushing my teeth afterward. We were called to the dining hall later for breakfast, Sally didn't talk to me the whole day she just ignored me completely and walked away to the dining. After breakfast, I expected Sally to return to the room with me but she didn't, and when the room became too boring and I became unwilling to stay there alone, I decided to go take a walk around the wood till noon. On my return, I met angry Sally in my room. "Where have you been?" She thundered as I walked into the room. "I thought you wouldn't mind", I replied and sat on the bed. "Alpha Derek, where have you been?" She fired at me again, but this time in a very cold and unfriendly tone. "I had to go view the woods, it was fun and I wanted to go with you, but you just disappeared after breakfast leaving me all on my own", I said. "I was with Sarah", she replied in a whisper.
ALPHA DEREK'S POV "I and alpha Lucas have kissed before so does it matter?" Sally replied to my shock and that was it. I would just let her visit the moonlight pack for peace to reign between us. I would let her go, or better still go with her because I knew if I didn't give her what she asked for, she would not talk to me for the next days, and malice wasn't my thing. "If you insist I will let you go, on one condition", I said to Sally and her eyes widened as she adjusted on her seat. "What condition?" She asked me curiously. "I also want to speak with your parents and Lucas, I want to apologize to them for everything I did", I said. "That's huge!" She exclaimed. "Are you sure you want to do that?" Sally asked me. "Why not?" I asked her. "I mean, are you sure about it? Because your going to apologize is huge and although it's something good for me, you, and everyone. But then, it's unlike you", she said and I smiled. "I want to do this for you, Sally, for the love we shar
SALLY'S POV Excitement would be an understatement to express the happiness I feel coming back to the pack house after so many months that had passed. Especially seeing Hayden, I thought I would never get to see her again. One more person I could not wait to set eyes on was my dad. The last time I had seen him was when alpha Derek's men were taking me away forcefully. Back then, he had pilled up so many tears in his eyes and it was really difficult for him to let them out. He tried to keep them in and act like a man, or at least act the way society would say this is truly a man. My cousin Julia had informed me that our parents had gone out and would return later in the day. They had left for a meeting with her parents, while she was left at home with my brother, who had stepped out for a bit leaving her by herself here. I would steal glances at alpha Derek at intervals, he seemed happy and Julia seemed to be entertaining him. I knew the happiness wouldn't last long for my parents w
SALLY'S POV Hayden and I quickly rushed to the sitting room to meet my mom, lying unconscious on the floor while my dad tried to revive her. I and Hayden could easily guess that she had fainted after sewing alpha Derek in the house. I rushed to her and bent down beside her as I tried to help in reviving her. In as much as it looked funny to me, I wouldn't risk laughing in front of my dad, at this hour. "You see what you have caused? Can you see it?" Dad barked into my head and I bowed my face. "I am sorry", I apologized. "How can sorry help at this point? How would sorry change anything?" He fired at me pouring saliva all over my face. I raised my head to look at Alpha Rolf and was amazed at the way he stood innocently with both hands behind him. I was tempted even more to laugh because the sight was so so funny. I tried to digest the laughter because it would only ruin everything and I would end up being accused of a whole lot of things. My mom coughed twice, and then, she open
SALLY'S POV "You'll see", I said to him and we began walking out of the room. We walked out of the house to Hayden's flat. I didn't need to tell her we were going to sleep over, she already knew that. We passed the night at Hayden's flat. Alpha Derek and I had to share her guest room, it wasn't weird since we already shared the same room and bed back at the pack house. The next morning we returned to my house to try and convince my parents yet there weren't ready to listen still. They kept insisting that we would leave their house. Alpha Derek and I were frustrated and decided to leave yet we didn't give up. We left the pack house with the intention of going back there some other day. Hayden walked us to the car as we were about to leave and wouldn't stop talking about how much she would miss us. She talked and talked and was almost moved to tears when I hugged her goodbye. We both returned to our pack house and got good news on our return. The guards and members of the pack
