Chapter 7

SALLY'S POV

By the time we got to Alpha Derek's house, I had already exhausted all my energy. I had no energy left in me to weep or cry anymore, I could barely stand on my feet.

The guard who had driven Alpha Derek's car came to a halt right in Alpha Derek's parking lot, alighted, and walked straight to where I sat. He opened the door and carried me shoulder-high, heading out of the car.

Unlike earlier, I didn't struggle to free myself from his grip, another guard also opened the door for alpha Derek and he alighted gracefully and started walking steadily behind us.

I sighted the Jeep that brought my mom home as it parked in the parking lot, I fixed my eyes on it, and the door opened abruptly. One of the guards came out of the front seat, the driver's space. He opened the back space for others, they dropped from the car and opened the boot where they had squeezed my mom mercilessly. Anger rose in my system as I sighted my mom being dragged to the back of the building.

She too was tired, she must have been exhausted from struggling inside the boot. Anyone who had eyes could tell Mom was already weak.

I was carried into a special room, that was prepared for my arrival. I was sure Alpha Derek had announced my presence even before I came. I was devastated and completely broken, there was absolutely nothing I could do about the situation at hand right now, no one would dare to challenge alpha Derek, not even the whole other pack altogether.

Alpha Lucas is quite powerful but he is no match, not even the slightest match to Derek, it was as if though a supernatural power was bestowed upon the family of Alpha Derek. It doesn't take him as much time as it takes to kill a chicken, for alpha Derek to finish a whole pack even single-handedly.

I wasn't expecting help from anywhere, I knew none would come and I knew for a fact that I was stuck with alpha Derek. Only God knows what he was going to do to me.

I quickly settled in the room immediately after the guards left, they locked the door from the outside, but I could feel their presence outside my door. I knew the two guards were standing I could feel their presence, I didn't need anyone to tell me, it was very obvious.

I took off my clothes quickly and decided to take a shower, then I quickly remembered I had no extra clothes to change into after bathing. And my dress was too long, tight, and very uncomfortable, I walked into the bathroom, and I was completely naked. I sighted the towel neat white towel hanging on a line in the bathroom, I was still thinking about what to do with it when I heard a sharp knock on the door.

I picked up the towel quickly, used it to cover myself, and hurried back to the room.  "Who is there?" I asked in a tense tone and picked up a bat that was lying useless on the floor and held it with both hands, my leg fixed in a ready-to-fight position.

"Can I come in please?" I heard a young feminine voice, took in a deep breath holding my chest, and placed the bat back on the exact spot I had picked it from.

"Come in", I replied in a rather calm manner.

The door opened slightly and a young beautiful girl walked in. She was a servant of alpha Derek's mansion, her appearance described her, plus I was too good at sensing stuff.

She held a tray in her right hand, it was covered with another tray so the content was not displayed, she covered the top of the upper tray with her second hand, and she walked in slowly and steadily swaying her hip.

I was about to say something when another girl walked into the room following after the first one. She wasn't as pretty as the first one, she carried a bag in her hand.

"Your food mam", the first lady said, placed the food on the table, and walked out of the room.

"Your change of clothes mam", the other lady said and dropped the bag on the bed. The both of them left the room immediately, I watched them until they were out of sight, I decided to follow after and lock the door, then I heard the key turn from outside reminding me where I was and my heart skipped out of its position almost immediately.

All I could do was sob, it gave me goosebumps that I was taken away from my lover by a ruthless alpha on my engagement. I couldn't help but sob gently. 

My stomach rumbled reminding me I haven't tasted anything since morning, I was too excited to eat before and during the engagement, I never knew the excitement would become sour.

I walked up to the tray of food and opened it. The smell of the delicious rice, chicken, and cheese filled my nose and made my mouth water. I wanted to sit and devour the food immediately, but I needed to shower first so I would enjoy the food properly.

I decided to look around the room first, I tried to steady my mind and forget everything that had happened. I walked around the room pretending I was a movie star in a TV show, and my fans were there in the room hailing me, I cat walked around waving my hands to know one in particular with my gaze fixed on the ceiling until I stumbled into something and crashed to the floor.

I decided immediately, it was time to take a shower and eat. I got into the bathroom, untied my towel, and had a very warm shower. I felt relieved and refreshed after the shower, I returned to the room.

I was about to change into my change of clothes the maid had brought, when another knock came on the door, believing it was the girls that had come back to pass information or pick up the plates I naivete the words come out freely.

"Come in please", I said in a calm voice.

The door opened slightly and the least expected person, alpha Derek walked into the room while I was still on the short towel that revealed sensitive parts of my body.

My heart skipped immediately and I looked around for something to cover myself quickly.
