SALLY'S POV Even though I was only very little when I last visited my pack house, it wasn't hard for me to locate it once again. I fell to the ground and began to cry uncontrollably. I looked around the deserted pack house, the bodies of those who were killed had been rusted, and the buildings were still the way they were after the battle. Partly broken, partly fallen, and partly raised. "I had made a promise to you all in the past that I was going to avenge your death, and now that I know who the peep is I wouldn't hesitate to wipe them all away. I will surely avenge the death of my own and nobody would stop me", I said and wiped my tears. I stood up to my feet and looked around the place. I wanted to howl but if I did alpha Derek would recognize where I was and wouldn't hesitate to come to find me. I didn't want anyone to know where I was, and I was sure the guard at the dungeon and Lisa wouldn't give me away. If they did, they will only get themselves into trouble and they s
SALLY'S POV I blamed the moon goddess for choosing Alpha Derek as my mate and vowed never to have anything to do with him. I wondered why she chose the alpha Derek of all men in the world to be my mate. Well this time around, I will kill my mate and marry someone else. If my destiny was to end up with alpha Derek then I was ready to rewrite it. I would never have anything to do with the same man that wiped my generation. To think that I was going to ask Lisa to forgive alpha Derek and move on, if anyone asked me to do the same I would punch him hard in the face. If I was killed on that day then my lineage would be wiped, there would be no one to continue the lineage of the pack, and none of my generations would be in existence. I picked up my dolls, wiped them, and packed them all together. I tidied my bed, dusting it thoroughly. I bent down and began clearing the floor. Although the house would remind me so much of my past, and the things that I didn't want to remember, it was
ALPHA DEREK'S POV I sent my guards all over the pack house, and when they returned without any news, it became obvious that she wasn't in the pack house. What amazed and scared me more was that no one saw her leaving the pack house. I just hoped that she hadn't died in a corner of the pack house or gotten kidnapped by my enemies because they wouldn't spare her no matter what I did. They would kill her, knowing full well it would break me, and my heart would start beating, at the news of her death. I decided to wait for the abductors to call for ransom, and when I heard no news from anyone, I decided to take the bull by the horn and visit the moonlight pack. I was scared all along, that the moonlight pack would hold me if I go there to ask about their missing child and she wasn't there. But what was the point of hiding it? They must have found out by now, and if Sally was there, then they would think I'm careless and would never give their daughter to me again. I dressed up early
SALLY'S POV I looked down at the fruit I bought, I was too hungry to return it, but that was the only option. I stretched my hand towards her to return the nylon of fruit to her, then I realized that I had already even bitten one of the fruits open without knowing it. I tried to open my mouth but the words weren't forming. "Hey, woman! Are you a thief?" She shouted at me, and I feared that she might decide to do something nasty. "Ma'am, please I have. I have come to the market empty handed and I do not have a dime to pay for your fruit. I am so hungry, and I promise to pat you once I finish eating this fruit and acquire enough energy to return to my house to get money", I said quickly. I didn't think about what I had said before saying it. I just spilled words like a complete idiot, and the way the woman stared at me was evident that she thought I must be a psycho. The aggressive look on her face and her squeezed brows were evidence that she didn't like me one bit, and she wa
SALLY'S POV I got back home late at night. I was completely exhausted from running around in the market, trying to get the things I needed in the house. I was able to buy a few things that would quicken the cleaning of the house, I was also able to get enough things for the kitchen. Although I wasn't able to get the smartphone, I still had little money left with me that would get me a very small smartphone and sim. At least the smartphone would be able to help me with making calls and the rest of it. I decided to rest for a bit before going to the kitchen to prepare dinner. At least the fruit that I ate in the daytime was still in my stomach, and I could manage it until I was able to get enough strength to prepare food. I lay in my bed facing the ceiling, as memories of the past began to flash in my head. I saw my dad chasing me around the sitting room while I would run and laugh excitedly. I saw myself playing with my dolls, forcing them to eat with me, and crying most of the t
SALLY'S POV A big frown was stuck on my face as I looked around the place tiredly, I wished once again that my maids were here. This would be the first time I would be doing anything on my own, and it wasn't just anything. It was something as stressful as cleaning up an abandoned house. I decided to start by sweeping the dust away. I picked up the new broom I had brought from the market and began sweeping the kitchen. I tried to gather all the dust together even though it was difficult, and seeing that I wouldn't be able to clean the house that way, I decided to use Packer first. I packed all the dust away using the packer before sweeping the place so it would become completely neat. After sweeping I picked a rag, and wet it with water from the bucket, that I had brought from my room, then I bent down and started cleaning. It was getting late, so I brought out three candles from my bag and lit them all up placing them in three corners of the kitchen, to enhance my sight. I bent ov
ALPHA DEREK'S POV "One more bottle please", I said in a drunken state. About five bottles of alcohol stood on the table in front of me. I had emptied the bottles and wasn't satisfied yet. This has been my life after searching for Sally for a whole week and still didn't hear anything from her. Some workers said they saw her sneaking out of the room that morning, which simply meant she had left the pack house on her own. She probably left to hurt me and make me pay for all the times I had hurt her. She probably didn't ever love me. She only wanted to use me and then dump me. She wanted to be free. She wanted to free her mom and pack members, and I was so foolish to have believed that Sally fell in love with me. Or she probably left because she wasn't ready to go through the shame of ending up sent away from the pack house with me. Everyone who had begun to gossip that it was a plan to distract the elders and others from the stolen money saw it for a fact that I wasn't okay. I had los
SALLY'S POV Two weeks had packed already. News about alpha Derek had spread like wide fire in the whole of the supernatural community. He had stopped visiting the moonlight pack house and had given up on his search for me. I knew for a fact my parents, especially my mom would be looking for me everywhere and may fall sick if I didn't show up right away. I packed all my belongings and took a cab back to the moonlight pack. I disguised myself in my dress since I didn't want anyone to know who I was. The security at the gate tried to stop me because of my disguise, but immediately I told them I was a messenger from alpha Derek to Sally's parents, they let me in without bothering me any further. I knocked on the door and my father opened the door, I jumped on him and hugged him so tightly, as if I wanted to penetrate his body, immediately he opened the door. "Sally", he called me in a very low tone. "Yes Father", I said and pushed him gently into the house. I closed the door afterwa
