ALPHA DEREK'S POV

A week had passed, and I knew the council of elders was going to come today. I stayed in my room drinking all day.

Although everyone have conspired not to give alcohol to me, I still found a way to convince Mike to get me two last bottles, promising him I would never rake alcohol ever in my life again.

I heard noise from outside the house and checked the wall clock. It was already a few minutes after four pm. I stood up and walked over to the window, I opened the curtain and peeped through, then I burst into a roar of laughter.

They must be stupid, very very stupid to think I will be scared of them, very very stupid to think I will, to think I will chicken out and give them my position. I should go outside and show them what re-madness looks like.

They have come for the coronation of the new alpha of alphas, and his swearing into my throne. I could see Alpha Lucas seated on a white horse, and adorned with beads. The elders of the council and all other alpha's s

AUTHOR'S POV The whole of the dark pack, and even the whole of the night walking creatures community have been in jeopardy since alpha Derek had become more ruthless than he was, and this time even his pack members who enjoyed his protection in the past, and only got to taste his wrath when they did something very awful, were now having their taste of the medicine. Alpha Derek would kill whoever does something very small and would hit anyone who crosses his part. "Get me his head", he ordered his guard. His guard didn't hesitate and cut off the man's head immediately, he knew he would replace him if he didn't. He handed the head over to alpha Derek, who took it from him and flung it into the bush. The only offense the man had committed was bumping into the drunk alpha Derek. Everyone decided to remain indoors, and only go out whenever it was necessary. A whole lot of people stopped going about their regular business, anyone who wanted to go out would ensure alpha Derek wasn't

SALLY'S POV I didn't stop thinking about alpha Derek, I would usually sneak out of the house, so I would be able to hear a few things about what was going on in the pack house. That afternoon I heard from the gossip about alpha Derek's threat to wipe out the entire community if they don't provide me within a week. I needed to do something as quickly as possible, more people shouldn't die because of me, I should stop that from happening no matter what it would cost. I also heard from a reliable source about the plans to take the throne to the Moonlight pack house, I heard about the presence of alpha Derek's parents in the pack house and anger filled my whole system. They were the ones who had ruined my life, they had destroyed my pack and should pay for it now that they are in sight. I became distracted and began sneaking out of the house constantly to get information, and also strategize on how to strike before they would leave the country again. At least now that they are here,

ALPHA DEREK'S POV The council of elders, or the night-walking creatures and supernatural beings, were to have their meeting today with the alphas and my parents. I knew the meeting would start by four pm so I decided to eat something before then so I would leave the house. I had other plans, apart from just ruining the meeting, I had a master plan, which I was sure would work for me if I put it into practice. Ruining their meeting was just one thing that wouldn't pay me. It would be better if I allowed them to have their meeting in fear. I was certain that throughout their stay in the meeting room, they would startle and get tensed at the slightest footstep or shadow, close to the meeting room. I walked into the kitchen, and began searching the place with my eyes. I thought that once I entered the kitchen since it was supposed to be for food, I would see plates of food lying around the place, but I was wrong. The things I saw there were not even making any sense to me. I decided

SALLY'S POV At exactly two pm I fainted at the training ground, it was only a fake faint. The train had to be paused exile I got rushed to my room. I had already established the fact that I didn't like it at hospitals, or the like so they wouldn't take me there. Two men were made to carry me, while Sammy walked behind them, and a lady was sent to get the doctor to my room so she could check up on me. I lay flat in bed until the doctor arrived, the men left leaving the doctor and Sammy with me. I waited for the right time, the doctor came closer to check my pulse, she placed her hand on my neck, and when she couldn't feel anything, she placed the hand on my wrist, and when she still couldn't feel anything. She raised herself and awalkedcloser to Sammy. "Go get my bag, will you?" The doctor asked Sarah. "Of course, why not", she replied and left. The doctor walked back to me, she touched my face, then my neck. I took my hand that had been hiding behind me and dug the syringe

ALPHA DEREK'S POV I stood up from the floor and walked out of the kitchen, I didn't want to eat the food anymore. I had less than an hour to leave the pack house because I didn't want to ruin my plan, by interfering in the meeting, and if I was home I would interfere. I wanted to visit the market square, I wanted to listen to the gossip talk about me, so I would know what they thought about me and how they saw me, and also what they wished me. I promised to deal with Sarah the next day for ever daring to touch me. I walked back to my room, wore a disguise, and left the pack house for the market. I found a spot to seat in the middle of some women who were selling fruits with their trays in front of them, on small stools. They all sat on a long pavement, thinking I would be a good customer, they allowed me to sit on the pavement with them, and I ordered some fruits to keep myself busy. They had so much to talk about, and the way time flew was something shocking. I was seated there

  • The Female Alpha   CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE

AUTHOR'S POV Alpha Derek was in so much pain, his greatest fear was being hunted down by a woman, or a kid. But right now he would have preferred that a kid or a market woman should kill him, rather than his mate Sally. He whimpered in pain as he tried to get up. "Sammy!" Sammy's sister Ralia cried out on sighting her elder sister lying dead on the floor. Sammy's eyes were open, and her neck was badly hurt from alpha Derek's claws. Ralia carried her in her arms, as her tears began to drop down her cheek falling freely on Sammy's face. "Oh Sammy, this wasn't how we planned out your life to end", Ralia cried. Sarah walked into the scene. She froze at the spot at the sight of Sammy's body, she was the last person Sarah expected to be sacrificed during the battle. She realized how powerful Sammy was at first glance, she knew Sammy was a very powerful witch, even more, powerful than she was, and wondered how it was so easy for alpha Derek to bring her down. Why she didn't escape, an

SALLY'S POV I was about to take out alpha Derek's heart when I felt a hand pull mine out of his heart. "Please, please don't do this", Ralia pleaded. "He killed Sammy, he slaughtered her without mercy", I cried. "Yet. Look Sally", Ralia started wiping my face with the back of her palm. "You know very well that anyone in his shoes would do the same, you too would not hesitate to kill all of those that hurt your loved ones in your absence when you set eyes on them. Why are we here in the first place?" Ralia tried to convince me. "My lobed once does not deserve death, but his family and loved ones do", I defended. "No Sally, nobody deserves death. It's just circumstances that make things happen, the truth is that everyone would defend their own family, and every single person on this watch would defend their loved ones no matter how evil they are. I would appreciate it if you will let go of alpha Derek, we have caused him so much pain already and should leave him to his fate, wit

SALLY'S POV I wouldn't let Sarah continue staying in the dark pack house, of course not. I had to take her with me to the moonlight pack. Ralia didn't forget to pick her sister's body, so we could give her a very befitting burial. Members of Moonlight pack stared at us as if they had just seen a ghost as we walked into the pack house. News spread fast, so obviously they all have heard what transpired at the dark pack house. The three of us walked straight to my mansion still carrying Sammy. I knocked on the door immediately after we got home, it was my mom who opened the door, and she hugged me tightly immediately after she did. "I hope you are fulfilled now?" She asked me. Tears began dropping down my cheeks. I always wanted to know what victory would taste like, what revenge would look like, what it would feel like to make all of those who made me suffer to pay for their crimes, but now it was all over and I have now got to realize that all was vanity. It doesn't make any diff

AMELIA'S POVI found myself alone on the couch when I woke up the next morning, I was comfortably wrapped in warm clothes which I did not remember putting around myself. I thought probably the pimp must have been the one to put the clothes around me. I remembered how he had hugged me last night when he was trying to console me and distract me from all of my thoughts last night. I smiled as I wrapped myself more comfortably in the cloth. I was happy and felt consoled by his presence, even though I did not have any idea when he had gone away. My eyes moved to the clock in the sitting room and I immediately sprang up from the couch. I remembered that today was not just a Monday but also a work day and a school day too. And I had overslept. I stood up from the couch immediately and ran to my children's room to start getting them ready for school. I was surprised when I opened the door and found them already dressed for school, the pimp was there and helping them to pack their bags.

I waited for the whole wedding to come to an end, and waited for everything to settle, before bringing the issue up. Diamond had been enrolled in the Wizard and dark beings school of Oaks. He was away in school so I decided to use the opportunity to talk to alpha Derek about the little girl Ama who had not grown into an adorable young lady. ALPHA DEREK'S POV I have made up my mind that I was going back to the pack house, and I wasn't changing it no matter what. Moving to another town wasn't a blessing after all, and it was a good idea as I had thought. When I saw Sally, I thought it was a way fate decided to bring us back together but I was wrong. Nothing good came out of staying in the new environment. My son would have died because of me, but thank goodness I was able to heal him before the issue escalated. I packed my belongings, my private ride was already waiting for me, and I needed to get back to the dark pack before it was late. I had already arranged for my private jet to come to pick me up, and I was ready to fly back and forget I ever visited this place talk more of seeing Sally or any other person. I walked into the open field where my private jet was waiting for me. The security that drove me there helped me pack my stuff inside. I took one last look at the whole of the place before I entered inside. I

SALLY'S POV I sat beside my son at the hospital and tears kept rolling down my cheeks. I knew he wouldn't heal on his own because his powers hadn't manifested yet, and he was still just a baby. I was angry at myself for placing my son through all the trauma I am putting him through. Ralia was crying too while Stephen tried to console me. Her hands were shaking. She had seen Diamond pick up the knife and slice his wrist, and she was unable to stop him, the trauma was making her whole body tremble in fear, as we watched our son lying lifeless with the drip in his hand. "I caused all of this, it was all my fault", I cried. Ralia crawled towards me, she had been lying on the floor and rolling herself, crying her eyes out the whole time. "It, was all my fault Sally, I am so sorry", she pleaded. "No it's not your fault", I replied. Stephen sat beside me and sighed. "Ralia and I discovered we loved each other after I moved into the house. She told me about your situation, that you

SALLY'S POV it's been two weeks since the incident with alpha Derek, and the one with Ralia and Stephen. I locked myself up in my room crying all day, and it wasn't getting any less messy. I was mad at Ralia, I blamed her for everything, including the fact that I had sex with my ex. Images of the hot sex and the way I rode him flooded my head, and I felt very disgusted thinking about it alone. Every single day I cried myself into a stupor. Diamond was oblivious to what was happening, he had no idea I was still in my room, and I trusted Ralia and Stephen to take good care of him, it wasn't news that they loved him so much like he was their son so I left him with them. I heard a noise and different voices from outside, I peeped through my window and saw uniformed men standing outside the house. I wondered what they wanted, and I tried to activate my werewolf ears to hear what was going on. I heard them talking about taking Diamond away, and I sighted Diamond holding firmly onto al

And the thing about drinking over here, there would be no one to stop me. I left the house very early and decided that drinking myself into a stupor was the only solution. I was about to open another bottle when I saw Sally staggering out of the bar. I stood up and rushed to her, I held her from behind and she tried to push me away. "It's me, it's me Derek", I said to her. Although I was drunk, I didn't lose my senses entirely, I still knew where I was, and who was who. "I_ I thought you said you were not Derek?" Sally asked me. "I am sorry, I didn't want us to begin on that foot", I apologized. "No, you said you liked Ralia, everyone does so go be with her", she replied. "Okay let's get you home. You are drunk Sally", I said. "Hahaha, see who is talking", she mocked. "Sally", I called. I carried he

SALLY'S POV To let peace reign, alpha Derek now known as Desmond agreed to marry Ralia, she also pretended to be excited about the news, Diamond asked them to hug each other, and they did, and it all ended there. Alpha Derek spent almost the whole day with us, we had so much fun and I almost forgot our differences. The five years apart from him had changed him so much, and he was now the opposite of his formal self. He knew so much about life and humility, he also knew so much about the human world, how it worked, and about empathy. I was falling in love with alpha Derek even more than ever, but I wasn't ready to reunite with him no matter what. He had hurt me so badly, and the injuries would never heal no matter how hard I tried to make it work. Diamond fell asleep in Alpha Derek's hands, and Ralia and Stephen were still very busy clearing up the kitchen, while I was having a chat with Alpha Derek. The both of us walked together to Diamond's room, and even though Alpha Derek sai
