After I finished feeding the baby and female came and took the baby out of the room. Right behind her came a guard who covered my mouth and tied me back to the bed.

Max walked back in saying he needed answers. He pulled the mouth covering off and told me if I did anything crazy then he would harm the children. He is such an asshole he always putting the got damn kids in adult bullshit.

Finally waking up I realized that I was on Max's bed tied up with my mouth covered again. Fucking asshole never playing fair. I tried to sit up but the chains wouldn't let me. The more I struggled the more the chains burned my arms. I heard the heavy, rapid footsteps approaching the door where I lay. Closing my eyes, I attempted to calm my racing heart, but fear overpowered me, and my wolf had not yet returned to help me out. The person fumbled with the keys, struggling to find the right one to unlock the door. When he finally succeeded, the door was yanked open abruptly. Startled, I opened my eyes, and there stood Willow's mate. His name escaped me at that moment. Regardless of his name, relief washed over me; I remembered Willow's words that they would aid in my escape, a hope I clung to. He removed the chains from my arms and legs, assisting me to stand. As I surveyed the room, I realized Anthony was absent. I inquired of Willow's mate about Anthony's whereabouts. He lowered his

Zion emitted a low growl, which made me giggle because I knew exactly what he was thinking. I patted his chest, reassuring him that I needed to retrieve my babies and check on my pack in due time. Zion smiled, indicating his understanding. It seemed as though hell itself was against us when an explosive sound erupted from the ocean, sending water flying in all directions. Zion quickly left the room to investigate the commotion. Screams, shouts, and the sound of gunfire soon came from the upper deck. Hiding, I prayed to the moon goddess that it wasn't Max causing the chaos, hoping it was someone else. Though not much better, it would mean we had evaded him. When the noise subsided, I thought emerging and assessing the situation was safe. I was mistaken; one would think I'd have learned by now. But no, as I rounded the corner into the hallway, two men in ski masks charged towards me. Given its formidable power, I hesitated, unsure if I should unleash my banshee wail. Tired of being t

As I stepped away from Marco, I noticed Zion growling as well. Approaching him, I reassured him that there was no threat and that he was my son. Zion gave Marco a lingering, squint-eyed glance before walking off. Observing their interaction, I could only mutter about the typical alpha behavior. Approaching Marco, my heart filled with joy, he began recounting the events of the past few years. He was about to introduce me to his mate when warriors burst into the pack house, alerting us to suspicious wolves nearing the border. They hadn't shown aggression, but vigilance was advised. I commended the warriors and instructed them to bolster our defenses along all border sections. Marco's eyes took on a distant look, signaling he was communicating with someone telepathically. As he returned to the present, his face paled, and a sense of dread washed over me. He approached and revealed that the Willow Pack had been attacked, leaving no survivors. His sorrow puzzled me. He motioned for me to

Jessica paced the living room, unsure of what to do. She felt uncertain about her mate, whose mother was barely clinging to life, and knew that what they were thinking could cause more harm. Her mate, Zion, wished to eliminate what they didn't understand. They knew that her banshee side was making her wolf more aggressive than usual. But who could blame her? After all, the things she had endured at the hands of Max over the past few years, and losing three of her babies would drive anyone to the brink of madness. As Jessica pondered at a standstill after her mate's argument, Kelson entered with a plan. She told Jessica that they should let Sky escape in her wolf form. Kelson believed that in this state, she could find and eliminate the person responsible. However, Jessica knew this wasn't the best course of action; Sky's wolf and banshee sides were at war for control, and her banshee side, driven by emotion, was unpredictable. Jessica dismissed the idea, thanking Kelson for the attem

As the battle raged on, with warriors clashing in both wolf and human forms, Sky lent her voice to aid her pack. Max, seizing the opportunity created by Sky's piercing scream, retreated towards his lair. Sky, perceptive of Max's intentions, transformed into her wolf form and pursued him. Unbeknownst to her, Max had prepared a fallback plan to ensure he would survive the conflict. Zion, witnessing Sky's pursuit, quickly joined in. However, Sky was oblivious to the witch's scheme that was luring her into a trap. As Max darted through the forest, he led her straight into a cage atop a portal, lying in wait for her arrival. It was too late when Savannah realized that she had fallen into another trap by Max. Zion's howl beckoned the pack to help ensure Savannah's safety, unaware that she had already vanished. Marco, trailing Zion, halted to discern his mother's scent, but the witches' spell had dispersed it throughout the woods, leading them astray. Realizing they were circling back, Ma

Upon awakening, Sky realized she was trapped in a cage, a sinister setup by Max. Enraged, she transformed into her wolf form, roaring in a futile attempt to break free. Suddenly, laughter echoed from behind. Shifting back to human, she yelled at him, "What's so funny? Let me out!" Max clicked his tongue, warning her that leaving him again would only mean death. Sky unleashed her banshee wail, hoping to inflict damage, but to no avail. She tested the bars' strength, but they wouldn't yield. Max declared she should surrender, as she was bound to him forever. Exhausted from her frantic efforts, Sky eventually succumbed to sleep. As Sky regained consciousness, she observed that she was on a bed, dressed in clean clothes. She attempted to rise, only to discover her arms were bound to the bed. However, she could still sit up and move, unlike before when she had been left exposed and immobile. For a moment, she harbored the hope of rescue, as this did not align with Max's usual conduct. Bu

Marco used his mind link to summon some pack members for assistance at the border. Upon arrival, they encountered a young lady with three babies. They swiftly gathered the infants, and Willow escorted her to the packhouse. Uncertain, Willow hesitated, seeking assurance from Jessica that it was safe to proceed. Jessica, nodding affirmatively, signaled that they were now in a safe. After that Willow followed the pack members that had the babies. Marco took Jessica's hand, leading her away from the crowd to converse in private. Once secluded, he inquired why she had severed their connection and ventured deep into the woods. Enraged, Jessica wrenched her hand free and hastened towards Willow and the children. Zion approached, inquiring if Marco had gleaned any insights. With a shake of his head, Marco admitted he had none. Disgruntled, Zion strode off, his disbelief evident. Entering the packhouse, Zion returned to the room previously used by his witch and stumbled upon alarming inscrip

The day of the full moon As Max waited impatiently for Kelson to complete the spell and prepare for the ritual, he decided to engage in small talk with Sky. He thought it was the right moment to inform her that the day had arrived for her to become his lifelong mate, expressing his hope that she would bear him daughters rather than sons. Sky is still gaged and tied to the bed only to be let out to use the bathroom and then back on the bed, she can't even give herself and bath because Max is afraid that her wolf will wake up or she will pull her gag off and use her banshee voice to bring down the house and cause their deaths. When Max entered the room one of the servants was giving Sky a bed bath. Max walked closer saying this is a view I could get used to this. The servant apologized for not having Sky clothes on and began to hurry to properly dress her. Max yelled at the servant to tell her to leave. Sky started moaning, shaking her head at the servant saying don't go. The servant

Sky asked Lana for help with her discomfort because of the urgent task that needed to be handled. Once Lana had alleviated Sky's discomfort, she contacted the bank again to inform them that she was on her way. Marco approached his mother, questioning her sanity for considering going into the situation while pregnant, suggesting that one of them should handle it instead. Sky dismissed the suggestion, explaining that they were already aware of her pregnancy due to Willow, so sending someone else might aggravate them and put everyone at risk. Zion informed her of his arrival, stating he would wait in the car before he traveled into the woods which would allow him to be a short distance from the house. However, he was adamant about not letting his pregnant mate go alone. Although Zion's gaze was fixed on Marco, he already knew the code, and they would enter

He began to tug at the restraints binding his wrists but to no avail. Considering standing up and attempting to topple the chair, he quickly found this futile as the chair was made of steel that wouldn't bend or break. He then contemplated walking over to the window to look for someone but realized he was chained to a beam in the center of the room, not allowing him to reach the window. Resigned, he sat back down to wait for their return. As the sun set, John looked around as far as he could but wondered when the couple would return. Knowing it was getting late his mind lingered on Willow, his mate. Lana detailed her plan to Jessica and Marco after Zion left the room. She intended to teleport back to the house to inspect the area, suspecting that the trash might not have been discarded yet. Jessica inquired about what might be needed for a successful search. Lana responded that for now, she required nothing; she just needed to return to the house and take a look around. Jessica nodded and declared her intention to accompany Lana. Marco attempted to dissuade his partner, but she firmly insisted that she could be of assistance as well. Marco then embraced her and sternly advised that she should leave the house immediately if she sensed any danger. Jessica, with a touch of sarcasm, saluted Marco and quipped, "Alright, captain." After Jessica and Marco's minor quarrel, Lana inquired if Jessica was ready to search for the rope. Jessica affirmed with a "Yep," donned her shoes, and walked to the door. Once outside, Lana conjured a portal; stepping through, they arrived in the backyard.
