CHAPTER FORTY

A loud groan escaped from Davis mouth.He gasped in fear at the sight of the blood flowing through his chest. Damn it!. How could he have not dodged that?.

Huge sounds heard from different directions,Davis kept looking back at where they were coming from.

Sirens blared loudly and one could see some soldiers getting to their positions.

He could hear the soldiers's voices more clearer from the distance they stood.

He was sure they were getting more soldiers notified now. He could hear more voices from the direction they had escaped.

"Can you stop glancing back and forth already?!.You will get us killed at this rate!. "Evan gritted his teeth hard as he jumped off a rock before them.

Davis did the same but landed on his shoulder which was shot. He groaned in pain but his gaze was still fixed at where the bullets was coming from.

His thoughts was just filled with his sister in there. Could he have planned much better than this?. Would she be fine all alone in there?.

"Let go of me. I
