Jenna's POV

As I watched, the disease ravaged our pack, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake. Roberto, our strongest and most determined alpha, was tasked with finding a cure, but fate had other plans.

The presence within him, a dark and malevolent force, began to stir, threatening to consume him whole. I saw the struggle in his eyes, the battle to maintain control, but it was no use. The presence was too strong, too ancient.

"Roberto, no!" I screamed, as he fell to the ground, his body contorting in ways that seemed impossible.
