Pythia POV:
When Tye walked back around I walked straight up to him and wrapped my arms around him. His entire being calms me and I needed that right now. "What did he say?" I asked. "Just to look after you, he is going to drop a book off about what all you can and can't do. We have to know your limits so you don't hurt yourself or the little one we will have soon" Tye replied. So there is a book? I need that book as quickly as he can bring it. "You will have Alley and the girls to help teach you about the white magic so don't worry about that, we also need to see if there is anything about how this will affect our children with them being mixed with three different races." Tye said. I didn't think about that. This could truly start mixing all of our races, it made me nervous but excited at the same time. "I want you to relax with the girls for a few hours, we will stay out front and wait for the book and then we will get some
Tye POV:I never understood why women wanted to watch movies, they always fell asleep during them. Maybe it's all the pregnancy stuff? Or maybe they are just tired but it didn't take long for our group of ladies to pass out before the movie even ended. I looked down at Pythia, her smooth skin practically glowed. She looked peaceful and worry free, just how I always want her. She is stunningly beautiful and I wondered what she was dreaming about. I knew it wasn't a bad dream because she looked happy, I knew the information her uncle told us was weighing on her and as much as her and Alley are close to her and Ambrosia are closer. Not that I minded but Ambrosia has gone out of her way to stay beside her when I couldn't. I needed to find a way to thank her for that. I will have to talk to Jackson about that later on. I wrapped Pythia in a blanket and carefully picked her up, she melted against me, before I could get ou
Pythia POV: The moment my eyes opened I wanted to spring out of the bed and get my hands on that book. I peaked over my shoulder to see Tye in a dead stare at me, "Well good morning lazy bones." He said smiling. "How long have you been awake?" I asked, it looked like he had been up for a while. "Not long. I would have slept a little more if you weren't snoring so loudly." Tye muttered. I swatter his arm, "I do not snore!" I giggled. "Oh yes you do, like a cute little mouse." He replied snuggling in to me. "We need to get up, my wolf." I whispered. "I know you want to read that book but you also need to eat. So get ready and we will eat with everyone." Tye murmured, and as if on cue my stomach started growling. "Alright up you go." Tye said, climbing out of the bed. I sat up slowly and watched as he dressed, "I will be right back." He said before slipping out of the door. I got out of bed and took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I have been wearing more shorts or leggings sinc
Pythia POV:I couldn't find it within me to read anything out loud for a moment. Will my skin turn black? I could decay from the inside out? Rotting teeth? Oh my goddess, I can't read this. This is making me sick to even think about. I felt a hand over mine and I looked up to see Alley staring right at me, her eyes darted to the paper and back to me, she saw it, she knew. I started feeling a little overwhelmed until pure warmth spread throughout my body and when I looked back at Alley white was swirling around. Tye sat down next to me and pulled me in his lap. "Whatever it is we will prevent it." He whispered. "I can't read that out loud. It is making me sick thinking about it." I said in a shaky breath. Alley took the book from me and looked to Tye for approval. He gave her a slight nod and I curled myself further into Tye. I needed him badly at this moment for what I was about to hear, I was horrified at the thoughts running
Pythia POV:I huffed and walked beside her. "Tell me what else you are thinking. Something has you rattled besides their reactions to it all." Ambrosia said. "I honestly don't know what to think. My dad and aunt are alive, my life was a lie and because peace started before me I am expected to lead with heavy shoulders. I have no guidance other than a book and I don't know what to do. It scares me to no end honestly." I replied but my voice cracked at the end. "We can not tell the future, we can only live in the now and right now what is important to you?" Ambrosia said softly. "My life with Tye. Our baby. I want a good world for us all and I know getting that won't be an overnight deal but it just seems like there is no light at the end of this tunnel for me. If the grand council doesn't take me out then I could take myself out by accident." I whispered as a tear slid down my cheek. "Ah now I see what you mean, but you must know that we w
Tye POV:As soon as we were done eating I told Pythia to take Ambrosia up to our room and pack her bags and I gave her my card for them to pop into town and get whatever else my green eyed beauty needed. Jackson told Ambrosia the plan and was excited to be able to go shopping especially at my expense. Pythia seemed a lot better by the time the two of them got back in. I shifted and let Rex run while I was able to. He was still fuming over how everyone made Pythia feel as was I but I get why they felt that way. It is a lot for her to take in at once but so was all the information about Alley and she handled it just fine. Regardless Rex needed to calm down and I knew he would after this run, even though it wasn't that far he still moved at incredible speed. Just before we got to my parents the door opened and out came. I shifted back and put different clothes on before stepping out from behind the tree. "There my wonderful
Pythia POV:The moment Ambrosia and I popped into the mall excitement filled me, I made sure we came in where no one would see us, the last thing I wanted to do was cause a big fuss. "Okay we need to get you a bathing suit, sleeping clothes whatever you need." Ambrosia said, pulling me to the closest shop. "Why would I need a bathing suit? Do you know where he is taking me?" I asked. Tye hasn't told me anything but to listen to Ambrosia and get whatever I needed. "I do but that is for him to tell you not me." Ambrosia replied. "Well how am I supposed to know what to get if I don't know anything." I taunted. I saw a smile tug the end of her lips. "That is what you have me for. Now I think blue suits you really well and you are going to have to wear a two piece." Ambrosia said, I started tuning her out while she grabbed a few bathing suits for me. My eyes landed on a cute little sundres
Pythia POV: As we loaded the truck I couldn't help but start to feel excited. I wonder where he is taking me? He said it was a surprise but it has to be somewhere like a beach or pool or something right? I mean why else would Ambrosia grab bathing suits for me. I needed to talk to Ambrosia when we got back, she was more than tense at the mall and I needed to know what that was all about. Humans getting too close to us can be dangerous if we aren't careful. We didn't make it that far down the road before I turned to him. "So where are we going?" I asked. A smile tugged at his lips. "Now if I told you it wouldn't be a secret." Tye replied. "Oh come on, at least give me a hint. How far away is it?" I asked. "We haven't even made it that far and you are already asking." Tye laughed. I narrowed my eyes on him. Why can't he at least give me a hint. "Tell me what happened at the mall." Tye said. "There isn't much to tell, we were trying to leave and they had questions, apparently a few o
Pythia POV: When my eyes opened I could smell the beach, the saltiness from it filled my nostrils and a smile came across my face. I looked at the time to see we had only been on the road a few hours. "We are almost there." Tye whispered. I sat up and took a look around at the view. It was closed off from the woods but I could see the water behind the trees, the sand was nearly white, it was like this part was tucked away from human eyes. We turned down a dirt road that went in between the large trees. As soon as it cleared a huge two story house came into view, it was a beautiful wooden cabin, the closer we got the more I could see it. It had large bay windows at the front but the sides were wrapped in wood. It had a larger porch that had a table and lounge chairs around it, this was stunning. We pulled up to the house and I noticed the gravel that surrounded the place. "This is so beautiful." I whispered. "And yet not as beautiful as you." Tye said, kissing the back of my hand.
